I'm the founder of Telehost, a SaaS property management platform for short-term rental hosts, and I'm moving to establish my Dutch BV under the DAFT entrepreneur visa. I'm looking for a place that feels like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep — ideally with flatmates who appreciate a clean, organized space and the occasional shared meal or weekend adventure. A bit about me: I have a background developing solar-powered water treatment infrastructure in East Africa. I love cycle touring, hiking, and flying small planes. I also own and manage a small number of rental properties in Texas, so I understand what it means to take care of a place and be a reliable tenant. I'm open to either a short-term stay as I look for something more permanent, or something longer-term if it’s the right fit. Happy to provide any documentation needed and can move quickly once the right place comes up.

My name’s Ruben, I’m Dutch but grew up in England, I’m 27 years old, working part-time as I’m finishing my final year of studies in Architecture. I’ve been living in Amsterdam for 4 years already and need to move out of my apartment by July 30th. I’m pretty sociable and enjoy hanging out in the evenings, over a beer or wine or whatever, whenever I’m not working on my studies. I have a busy schedule during the week and sometimes work late, but in my spare time I enjoy playing tennis, football and going to concerts or an exhibition. I’m generally pretty chilled. During the weekend, I make some plans with friends, go to exhibitions or have a relaxed night in with good food. I also have many hobbies, some of them being reading, traveling and playing volleyball. I like trying new things, so I recently started bouldering, which I really enjoy at the moment. I have a cat, which I love dearly and I take very good care of her. Her name is Duli and she is a very cuddly, clingy cat, so I would love to be able to continue to live with her in Enschede. I can fully take care of her and keep her just in my room in a shared flat, but if other flatmates want to meet her and pet her, they are obviously welcomed to do so. Ik ga zorgvuldig om met mijn woonruimte en vind het belangrijk dat een woning schoon en netjes blijft. Ik heb een vast werkritme en ben doordeweeks vooral gericht op werk en ontspanning thuis. In het weekend vind ik het gezellig om af en toe iets te ondernemen met vrienden, maar thuis hecht ik vooral aan rust en ontspanning. In mijn vrije tijd lees ik graag, ben ik creatief bezig (haken, breien, af en toe schilderen, bakken en koken) en breng ik graag tijd buiten door.
