, I’m 20 years old and originally from Czech Republic. I moved to the Netherlands about a year ago, and before that I have moved places in Czech Republic. I grew up with a sibling, so I know what it is like to share space with other people, and I have also went on exchanges, where I had to get used to being with different cultures. I moved to Netherlands to study psychology at the University of Amsterdam. I will be going into the second year, and my student housing is ending so that’s why I’m looking for a new one. So a little about me: I’m a non-smoker, I love meeting new people, and I’m a social butterfly. I’m respectful in shared places, personal privacy is an important element for me, but I would also love to spend time with my roommates and enjoy movie nights or such. I’m well aware and comfortable with housework, cooking and always keeping things tidy ( I don’t enjoy a messy apartment). I always welcome having open conversations, and I think the most important thing to have in a shared space is a good relationship with your roommates. Hoi! Ik ben Ishara, 22 jaar oud, en momenteel bezig met afstuderen in Toegepaste Psychologie. Vanaf september start ik aan een nieuwe bachelor Psychologie aan de Radboud University. Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar. Ik hoop een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen te vinden waar ik voor langere tijd met plezier kan wonen!
