Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Ik heb een dubbele nationaliteit, Duits en Zuid-Afrikaans, en woon al ongeveer twee jaar in Gouda (Zuid-Holland). Daarvoor heb ik in Brussel (ongeveer 7 jaar) en in Berlijn (ongeveer 1,5 jaar) gestudeerd en gewerkt. Gouda bevalt me goed, het was perfect om mijn proefschrift te schrijven, maar de verhuurder verkoopt het huis en ik moet dus vóór augustus van dit jaar verhuizen. I like to have meaningful conversations, and enjoy the occasional social event. Overall, however, I prefer a quieter peaceful environment. I really love art and music. Drawing is something I find easy, and I play the piano. Oh, and origami! I've gotten really good at it :-) But, what I want to do in the future is science. Onze voorkeur gaat naar een woning in regio Den Haag, Leiden en omstreken, maar we staan open voor andere opties zoals regio Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht. I’m Romy (on the right in the photos) and Lynn (on the left in the photos) is my twin sister. I am looking for a place for us to live together, or for my own studio or room. We are both 23 years old. I am a student at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam (Hogeschool van Amsterdam) and Lynn studies at Leiden University (The Hague campus). We both borrow the maximum student loan (around €1300). I currently live in Haarlem and Lynn lives in The Hague. We both also have part-time jobs alongside our studies, and we plan to work as well if we move somewhere else. We are both fairly quiet and not really into parties and going out, which is why we are looking for an apartment together or separate studios, rather than traditional shared student housing. Our preference is for a place in the Amsterdam, The Hague, or Leiden regions and surrounding areas, but we are open to other options as well.
