I'm someone who gets a lot of energy from being around people, whether that's at uni, a rugby training session, a night out, or just chatting over dinner. I've also recently gotten into dancing, so don't be surprised if I'm the first one convincing people to join me on the dance floor. I think that's made it pretty easy for me to connect with others and feel at home in new places. At home, I like keeping shared spaces clean and comfortable. I'm always happy to hang out or cook together, but I also appreciate everyone's own space just as I appreciate mine. From September onwards I will study "Social Challenges, Policies, and Interventions" in Utrecht and after a few years in Nijmegen I am now ready to make a new city my home. From October 1st to late December, I’ll be in Rotterdam for a 3-month clinical rotation in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Erasmus MC. I am looking for a furnished room in Rotterdam for a fixed duration of 3 months (Oct 1 – Dec 24). Given my schedule at the hospital, I’m hoping to find a place with a good connection to Erasmus MC (or within reasonable biking distance). I’m used to shared living, respect shared spaces, and value a tidy and peaceful home, especially with early hospital shifts! While I’ll be busy at the hospital, I always enjoy having a dinner, a beer, or a good chat with housemates in the evening. Na een jaar op school te hebben gezeten, wilde ik kijken of ik uit huis kon gaan om op mezelf te gaan wonen. Hoewel ik het prettig zou vinden om dichter bij school te wonen, vind ik het ook niet erg om in mijn geboorteplaats Leiden te blijven. Ik ben erg creatief en houd er enorm van om oplossingen te bedenken voor klusproblemen. Verder maak ik ook mijn eigen muziek op de akoestische gitaar en zit ik vaak achter de computer.
