Hi, I’m Elven. I work full-time as a vehicle technician in Barendrecht and have a permanent contract. I’m calm, clean and independent. I don’t smoke or have pets, and I like to keep my home clean and organised. I enjoy a friendly atmosphere at home while respecting each other’s privacy and personal space. I’m looking for a furnished room or studio in or around Rotterdam for the coming months, potentially up to a year. I can provide proof of employment, income and a landlord reference if needed.

Eind augustus start ik met een stage bij Dapper in Rotterdam. Daarnaast heb ik mijn eigen bedrijf, waardoor ik naast mijn studie en stage ook actief bezig ben met ondernemen. Ik heb al ruim 2 jaar ervaring met samenwonen met huisgenoten en heb in die tijd nooit voor problemen gezorgd. Ik ben schoon en netjes, sociaal in de omgang, en rook niet. Een fijne, rustige woonsfeer vind ik zelf ook heel belangrijk, dus ik houd rekening met mijn huisgenoten en de regels binnenshuis. Ik ben rustig, respectvol en zelfstandig, houd mij aan afspraken, en ben momenteel veel bezig met mijn persoonlijke ontwikkeling en de groei van mijn onderneming. U kunt bij mij dus rekenen op een nette, betrouwbare en verantwoordelijke huurder. Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Haarlem en ben per direct beschikbaar om te verhuizen. Ik heet Sylke en ben 20 jaar oud. Op dit moment zit ik in het tweede jaar van de bachelor elektrotechniek, maar vanaf volgend jaar ga ik er ook natuur- en sterrenkunde in Leiden naast doen. Naast het zijn van een nerd ook nog genoeg andere hobbys! Ik hou van naaien, bakken, schilderen, kletsen, boulderen, naar de gym gaan en van tijd besteden met vrienden! Ik vind het erg leuk om nieuwe dingen te proberen, alleen of gezellig samen. Ik hou ook van een schoon huis, en heb op mijn huidige kamer een schoonmaakrooster, dus ik ben al gewend aan hard poetsen. Ik ga netjes om met spullen en zorg niet voor overlast. Ik heb er plezier in om af en toe met huisgenoten (of vrienden) te eten en om nieuwe dingen te proberen. Ik heb respect voor andermans ruimte en heb af en toe een momentje voor mezelf nodig :) Ik heb een garantsteller en kan daarvoor alle nodige documenten leveren, mocht het nodig zijn.

First and foremost, I am: Exceptionally tidy, attentive and respectful of the property:  even smallest issues/damages don't go unnoticed and are dealt with by me. I keep everything well maintained and take full responsibility. Cleanliness and order at all times is important part of my mindset and the way of living. Financially stable:  I work ~32 hours a week on average, make around 2400€ monthly and 30k€ annually gross, have decent amount of savings and I am very mindful of my finances. No debts or loans. I have been working at FedEx Duiven for over 18 months as a parcel sorter/forklift driver. I work through a work agency and I understand that landlords are very put off by that, but I can assure you that my position is 100% firm and there is virtually no chance of me getting laid off. If you have any doubts, I can explain the full work situation in detail. I intend to stay in the country and Gelderland area for a long time as I've permanently left my country of origin Lithuania. Very quiet:  no music, no partying, no loud noises. No drinking or any substances nor smoking. I prefer mostly solitary way of living with my lifestyle revolving around mindfulness, self inquiry, meditation and general focus on my health. Respectful to those around me:  while I don't speak Dutch and am not particularly social, I am polite at all times and I keep in mind the wellbeing of others. I am willing to be involved in any matters that are important for the landlord or community. Honest and transparent in all matters. I am 33 years old. No pets. I am single. I am able to provide all necessary documents. My reason for moving is that I consider home environment to be very important to my overall wellbeing. A fully independent space is a goal of mine, it would be a great improvement to my current housing conditions and open up new opportunities.

Nieuwe stad, nieuwe studie, nieuwe mensen — daar heb ik zin in! Ik ben Floris, bijna 18, uit Liempde (NB) en ik start deze zomer met Geschiedenis aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Hi! My name is Luis, I'm 24 and I study climate protection and climate adaptation near Munich, where I'm originally from. From the beginning of September 2026 until the beginning or middle of February 2027 I'll be doing an internship in an NGO in the middle of Amsterdam – and I'm looking for a room for that period. I'd describe myself as outgoing, open-minded and energetic, but I equally enjoy calm and cozy evenings at home. Hello! I hope you are well. My name is Anne, I am 21 y/o (22 in November), from Norway. I have graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Amsterdam (UvA). I have lived in the Netherlands for 3 years now, and I loved it so much I decided to apply for a master's here. Luckily for me, I got into the Political Science master's at Leiden University, which I am thrilled about. Before I lived in the Netherlands, I got into the United World College of the Adriatic (UWC AD), which is an international boarding school near Trieste, Italy. It taught me a lot about living with others and respecting our facilities, especially as one of the residences used to be part of the Duino Castle. When I am not working or studying ;) I love to sit down and read a book; my all-time favourite is The Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki by Haruki Murakami, and my favourite childhood books have to be the Harry Potter series. Additionally, I love being able to bike everywhere, especially down to a cafe to meet up with friends or to a pool bar to play. I am not a smoker or a heavy drinker. I am a very clean and tidy person (feedback from my previous roommates). After living with roommates for a combination of 5 years (three roommates in Italy, and one flatmate in Amsterdam), I am well-versed in living with people from all walks of life.
