I’m Sara, I’m 29 years old and I’m Italian. I’m currently doing a PhD in Italy in Turin, where I’ve been living for the past 10 years. I’m originally from Sardinia, so I’m quite used to living far from home, moving around and living in rented apartments! Now I’m moving to Utrecht for a semester at the Science Park, and I’m really excited about this new experience. I would say I’m a very outgoing person. I love meeting new people, having long conversations and spending evenings together, especially if there is some good food and a nice glass of wine involved.... but I’m also happy with a cold beer! I’m quite active and I love going for long walks, exploring new places and sometimes just getting lost in the streets of a city and taking pictures along the way. I love dancing and cooking, but despite being quite an outgoing person, I also really enjoy having some time for myself, reading a book at home. One thing you’ll probably learn about me pretty quickly is that I’m slightly obsessed with Hungary. I've been living with my family in South-Limburg ever since I came. I can understand and speak a basic level of Dutch, but I didn't want to be misleading by writing this Bio in Dutch, as most of my daily life is in English. I've been working in a supermarket in hours varying between 24-40 h/w for these last three years. When I move to Nijmegen, I plan to apply to new part-time jobs right away. As of September, I will be starting my Master's in Radboud Uni. I'm pretty happy and excited to get back on track with my aspirations. But the housing situation is also a bit terrifying as I want to have a place where I can anchor now (I don't want to move around for a while anymore :D).
