I am an international student, from Romania, starting Mechanical Engineering in september 2026 at TU/E. As I am a student, my parents will help me pay for rent. Both my parents work well-paying, stable jobs in Romania, earning a combined total of arround 5500 euro per month, while living in a house we own.

Ik ben Mirthe, zeventien jaar oud en ik hoop in de komende maanden mijn VWO-diploma te halen. In mijn vrije tijd doe ik aan turnen en tennissen, ook werk ik in de bediening in de horeca. Daarnaast vind ik het gezellig om leuke dingen te doen met vrienden, bijvoorbeeld naar feestjes, spelletjes spelen of af en toe naar een festival. Komend studiejaar ga ik beginnen met de Bachelor Psychologie aan de Universiteit van Leiden, waar ik heel erg naar uit kijk. Doordat de reistijd naar Leiden erg lang is, ben ik op zoek naar een leuke kamer in een gezellig huis.

Ik zal aankomende studiejaar mijn 2-jaar master’s opleiding beginnen aan Universiteit Utrecht Gewenste huurtermijn: 1-2 jaar Ik heb wat rustiger hobbies zoals knutselen, en ik kook graag. Een rustige woningplek is wel belangrijk voor mij en hoewel ik het mooi vind om sociaal te zijn, zou ik geen groot feest hosten, ik zou liever mijn kamer netjes houden.

From September onward I’ll start studying Harpsichord at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, so I’m looking for a room from around August. Before that, I studied orchestral and choral conducting in Germany, and besides harpsichord I also play organ and piano. Since I don’t own a harpsichord myself, I normally practise at the conservatory, so I won’t be practising loudly at home :) I’ve lived in shared flats and student housing for many years and I really value a clean, respectful and relaxed living atmosphere.
