Hey, My name is Kai, I’m 26 from Germany. I just graduated and now work in Amsterdam. I want to find something comfortable and chill where I can relax after work. A little bit about me: I moved to the Netherlands a few years ago to study at Breda University of Applied Sciences, where I just graduated with a degree in Game Arts (3D). During my studies, I interned at a game developer in the center of Amsterdam, and I now work there full-time. That’s why I’m looking for a place closer to the city — somewhere comfortable and safe where I can relax after work. Personality & lifestyle: I would describe myself as relaxed, respectful, and easy to live with. I enjoy nature, animals, and being creative (from sketching to 3D creature and character design). I keep my space clean and tidy, and I’m used to living with others — I shared a student house for four years, which taught me the importance of fairness and respect at home. My hobbies include going for daily walks (and often meeting cats along the way), running, reading, photography, cooking/baking, and working on 3D art projects. I’m always up for things like shared meals, board games, or hanging out, but I’m also happy if everyone prefers doing their own thing. Practical things: - I don’t smoke, drink, or take drugs (unusual for a German, I know 😅). - I’ve always paid rent on time and can provide a landlord’s statement as proof. - One important question: would it be possible to register at the municipality with this room? My first language is English, maar ik kan wel voldoende Nederlands praten (voor het dagelijkse leven). Proud member of the Recreation Committee of T.S.V. Wyvern, a (board) game and social organization based in Delft. While Wyvern is not strictly a student association, it has many students in it, as it has grown through word of mouth via the TU Delft campus. I'm following a BBL MBO opleiding where I work 4 days a week and have lessons 1 day a week, and I get paid pretty decently. Technical things are my jam, and I love tinkering. My current projects include an old cassette-playing boombox that I'm trying to get working again. Don't worry -- I always keep the volume to a minimum in general, or I put on headphones. At this point I'd prefer to live alone, as I've had some mixed results when it comes to roommates and would like to have the freedom to be fully myself in my safe space. However, if the roommates in question are open and kind, and we are able to make a functioning home?
