Hoi! Ik ben Daniel (27), oorspronkelijk uit Duitsland, en vanaf oktober begin ik als fulltime onderzoeksmedewerker aan de TU Delft, waar ik onderzoek doe binnen de sociologie van klimaatfinanciering. Mijn contract is voor één jaar, maar het kan uitgroeien tot een promotietraject. Voor nu kijk ik vooral of een carrière in de wetenschap bij mij past. Ik heb net mijn studie in Londen afgerond en kijk er erg naar uit om aan mijn eerste "echte" baan te beginnen. Een kleine waarschuwing: ik spreek nog geen Nederlands (alleen Duits, Engels en een beetje Spaans), maar ik ben zeker van plan om het te leren. Ik ben een ontspannen en gezellige huisgenoot, kook graag (meestal vegetarisch) en ben makkelijk om mee samen te wonen. Ik woon al jaren in gedeelde huizen en vind dat nog steeds erg leuk. Of het huis nu heel sociaal is of juist wat rustiger, allebei is prima – zolang we niet alleen als vreemden langs elkaar heen leven. I’ve lived in shared flats for many years and genuinely enjoy it. Whether the flat is more social or more on the quiet side, I’m happy with both - as long as we are not just co-existing as strangers. Hi! Ik ben Nout, 18 jaar oud en ik woon nu nog in Duiven, vlakbij Arnhem. Als alles volgens plan verloopt, hoop ik dat ik binnenkort bij jullie in Delft woon. Ik ben per z.s.m. op zoek naar een kamer, het liefst in een studentenhuis. Zou leuk zijn als we dan ook regelmatig dingen samen doen, zoals bijvoorbeeld eten. Ik pas me makkelijk aan, vind heel veel dingen leuk om te doen. Zoals sporten, gamen, met vrienden afspreken en een feestje sla ik ook niet over. Verder ben ik een groot liefhebber van reizen: van gewoon Nederland tot China en Canada.
