I'll be studying Mathematics at Leiden University from August 2026 until July 2027, and I'm really looking forward to spending the year in the Netherlands. I'm a friendly, open-minded, and easy-going person who loves meeting new people and making friends. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, exploring new cities, going on long walks, visiting art galleries and museums, discovering cute cafés, and trying new food. I also enjoy going out with friends to bars, dance events, and social nights, but I always keep a good balance between socialising and studying. I've been renting accommodation for the past few years, so I understand what it means to be a considerate tenant. I'm clean, tidy, organised, and respectful of shared spaces. Hi! My name is Lilike, I'm 21, and although I'm originally from Germany, I grew up in the UK and Japan. For the past three years I've been living in the Netherlands, and am looking to stay longer term. I’m starting a (research) Masters in Developmental Psychology at Utrecht University in September and am looking for a room in Utrecht. I’m planning to stay for at least the duration of my studies (two years), but I want to build my career here, so I’m looking for somewhere I can really settle into. Financially, I will be working part-time alongside my studies. If a guarantor is needed, my parents are happy to sign for that. I'm a non-smoker, have no pets, and am generally very clean. I have shared a kitchen and bathroom before, and also lived with a host family.
