Hallo! Mijn naam is Linde, ik kom net uit Maastricht, waar ik een honours bachelor in internationale politiek en internationaal recht heb afgerond. Vanaf september begin ik met mijn master Conflict Resolution and Governance aan de UvA, en ik heb er echt zin in om na jaren in een kleinere stad eindelijk in Amsterdam te wonen. Als huisgenoot ben ik sociaal en gezellig, maar ook georganiseerd en netjes. Ik kook en bak graag, en vind het fijn om af en toe samen te eten. In mijn vrije tijd ga ik naar de sportschool, lees ik, en doe ik graag creatieve dingen zoals schilderen en samen koken. Ik studeer ook graag met vrienden en wandel veel. Ik werk al jaren in de horeca en ben gewend om verantwoordelijkheid te dragen. Hi, my name is Archie and I’m 19 years old. I’m originally from Spain, with British/Spanish parents - I’m fully bilingual. I’m moving to Eindhoven to study Industrial Engineering at TU/e and I’m looking for a comfortable, quiet place to call home while I focus on my degree. Before starting university I spent a gap year solo-travelling through South America, working in Maui and honing my surf skills, and spending a month in Bali surfing twice a day and meeting travellers from all over the world. It was an incredible experience that taught me a lot about independence, adaptability, and looking after myself (and others) wherever I am. I’m a responsible and tidy person; I take good care of shared spaces and respect the home I live in. I’m a non-smoker and don’t have any pets. I’m also pretty handy when it comes to DIY, so small things that need fixing are never a problem! Outside of my studies, I’m very active and love sport - tennis, kitesurfing, foil, surfing, skiing, wakeboarding, and hiking are all part of my life. I also have a real passion for food - I love cooking and eating well, with a good mix of Spanish and British influences thrown in. My parents are fully supportive of my move and are available to act as guarantors if required, so there is no concern regarding rent payments.
