Hi! My name is Jim, and I’m currently completing my Master’s in Sport & Performance Psychology in the University of Amsterdam. I am looking for a room in Amsterdam until November Ay minimum. I am currently completing my thesis and will soon be starting my internship here in Amsterdam. So I’m looking for a furnished room or studio from early August for at least four months. I’m clean, respectful, calm, and reliable with rent. I’m used to shared living and I’m very considerate about noise, cleaning, and giving housemates their own space. I lived with housemates in Dublin Ireland for five years and have landlords reference if necessary. Ideally I’d love a comfortable furnished room, preferably with a double bed and, if possible, an en-suite bathroom, but I’m also very happy to share a bathroom with tidy housemates. Im a chill, friendly person who likes to cook, run and play sports and exercise. I love music and like to do music production in my spare time (with headphones don’t worry lol). My name is Amir, I am half Moroccan, half German and grew up in Frankfurt, Germany. I am studying Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics at UvA and am now moving into my second year. Next to my studies, I work at a boutique hotel on Leidsegracht and am part of a student-led interviewing platform. When Im home, which doesnt happen too often these days, I like to read and relax mostly. I enjoy sharing music as well going to concerts or events of all kinds - from the Matthäus Passion at the Concertgebouw to the Bimhuis jazz club on Tuesdays with my friends or concerts at Paradiso. I also enjoy cooking (although that skill is still very much in development) and I ocassionally supplied my previous floormates with pancakes or some good soup.

Ik ben erg gemotiveerd om een kamer te vinden in Utrecht of omstreken, want vanuit Alkmaar is het 2 uur reizen naar de campus van de UU. Vanaf september ga ik natuur- en sterrenkunde studeren, en heel misschien de dubbele bachelor natuurkunde en wiskunde. Maar ik denk het niet want ik wil tijd over houden om veel te schaken, en op een studentensportvereniging (roeien denk ik) te gaan. Met schaken ben ik in 2025 Nederlands Jeugdkampioen geworden, en mijn doel is en blijft beter worden. Andere hobby's waar ik tijd voor hoop over te houden zijn pianospelen, zeilen, series kijken, lezen en theedrinken. Waarom ik op kamers wil, is naast dat het minder reistijd is, vooral omdat het me fantastisch lijkt om te wonen met mijn vrienden. Spelletjesavonden, samen eten, goede gesprekken en misschien zo nu en dan een uitje is wat ik hoop te vinden bij de kamer. Maar ik ben ook prima in staat de gezelligheid elders te vinden, bij de roeivereniging of schaakvrienden in Utrecht, en rustig te werken op m'n kamer. En: sowieso zal mijn kamer opgeruimd zijn :) Mijn ouders hebben vaste banen en staan garant voor de huur. Die zal dus hoe dan ook betaald worden!

Ik ben 18 jaar, en heb onlangs heb ik mijn vwo-diploma behaald en nu ben ik op zoek naar een fijne kamer om mijn studententijd te starten. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik graag sportief bezig, bijvoorbeeld door te sporten of andere actieve activiteiten te ondernemen. Tegelijkertijd kan ik ook genieten van een rustige middag thuis, bijvoorbeeld met een spelletje of een goede film. Ik zie mezelf als een sociaal, zorgzaam en verantwoordelijk persoon.
