I'm from Barcelona, living in Stockholm the past three years. I'm moving to Groningen to continue my studies. I will be studing amb working. I need a place to live the next two or three years. I prefer a furniture place, better if it's a studio or similar, or sharing an apartment with one or two in a quite place.

Hi there, I’m Sehar Abdullah, a 27-year-old Indian doing her Erasmus Mundus ReD Global (Religious Diversity in a Globalised World) Master’s at the University of Groningen. I’m returning to Groningen this semester after completing my mandatory mobility semester in Spain (wherein I dabbled with learning Spanish as well). I am looking for a room/studio for a longer period, since I'm going to spend my coming academic year at RUG. About me: I’m a quiet, responsible, and reliable tenant. Most of my time, I can be found in the library, researching, writing and reading some more. I enjoy reading fiction, journalling, as much as good conversations. I also enjoy going for long walks. I'm also working with one of my professors at RUG on a project on Climate change, which keeps me busy along with my own studies. I'm looking for a place where I can focus on my academic work (which is going to weigh more with my dissertation work coming soon). In my first Semester at RUG, I lived at SSH Winschoterdiep and had a very rewarding experience. I can provide a declaration of good tenancy from SSH confirming that I had no rent arrears or neighbourhood nuisance complaints. It was lovely staying at Winschoterdiep, but I would like to move to a neighbourhood in Groningen instead. My Erasmus Mundus scholarship provides a stable monthly income, which I receive before the end of the month, and I can provide proof of enrolment, proof of funding, and guarantor (my father) details if required.

Hoii! Ik ben Lizan, 21 jaar en kom oorspronkelijk uit Prinsenbeek, een dorpje naast Breda. In september begin ik aan mijn laatste jaar Kunst & Economie aan de HKU in Utrecht. Daarnaast werk ik bij het Chassé Theater in Breda als horecamedewerker. Op dit moment woon ik in Den Bosch, waar ik een kamer heb omdat ik hier stage heb gelopen. Nu ben ik op zoek naar een nieuw plekje en vooral naar een huis waar wat meer gezelligheid is! Ik vind het leuk om samen met huisgenoten te eten, een kletspraatje te maken in de keuken of spontaan iets leuks te doen. Het lijkt me gezellig om de mensen met wie ik woon goed te leren kennen. Tegelijkertijd vind ik het ook belangrijk dat iedereen lekker zijn eigen leven kan leiden en dat je je thuis ook gewoon kunt terugtrekken wanneer je daar behoefte aan hebt. Ik zou mezelf omschrijven als een gezellige, creatieve, Brabantse meid. Sinds kort ben ik begonnen met sporten in de sportschool en verder vind ik het leuk om in mijn vrije tijd met vriendinnen af te spreken, gezellig een drankje te doen of lekker creatief bezig te zijn.

Hi! Ik ben Merel, 19 jaar en ik heb net mijn eerste jaar Fysiotherapie afgerond. Ik kom uit Aalten, een dorp in de mooie Achterhoek. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag en sta ik regelmatig op het voetbalveld. Op dit moment voetbal ik nog in Aalten, maar ik zit over te denken om dit in Enschede te gaan doen. Als ik zou zeggen dat ik van poetsen houd dan zou ik liegen, maar vervelend vind ik het niet zolang er maar muziek op staat! Ik heb nu al zin om gezellig samen te eten, een spelletje te spelen of een drankje te doen. Ik leer graag nieuwe mensen kennen en vind het belangrijk dat er een gezellige sfeer hangt in huis. Naast mijn studie werk ik al vier jaar met veel plezier in de keuken van een restaurant. Ik houd van de afwisseling en de gezelligheid die daarbij komt kijken. Verder vind ik het heerlijk om af en toe een avondje thuis op de bank een film of serie te kijken, maar ik ben ook altijd in voor een feestje of een gezellige avond met vrienden. Eigenlijk zeg ik daar zelden nee tegen!
