Hello, I'm Emilio. I’m 22 years old and will be 23 in May 2026. I was born and raised in Napa, California but have lived in Denver, Colorado for the past 2 years. I have three citizenships, American, Italian and Canadian. I speak English and some Italian, but no Dutch (yet!). I plan on settling into my new home in Amsterdam in June 2026, and will work part-time after getting settled in. I’m willing to rent sooner for the right home to avoid housing chaos. I do have savings and allocate my financial resources responsibly. I enjoy playing video games such as Cities: Skylines, and going to many EDM shows. I’m social but not a big partier. I love travelling and have visited my family in Italy since I was 6 months old. I’m very passionate about non-car centric city planning, which is why I’m going to Amsterdam to study it since I believe they have the best cities in the world. I hope to take that knowledge of the Netherlands and bring it back to the USA to help improve our car-centric cities here. I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s at University of Amsterdam to study Human Geography and Planning, eventually gaining a Masters in a related field. In terms of housing, my preference would be in Amsterdam within a reasonable commute to the Roeterseiland campus, but understand I may need to look further out. I would prefer to live in a private studio, but I’m also open to shared housing. In Denver, I’ve lived with three various other roommates the whole time, and all of us have gotten along very well. I’m very clean and quite quiet, though I do like socializing with my roommates when we’re able to. Having lived with roommates the past 2 years, I’m more than happy to share a space with others and I keep common areas very tidy. I’m excited to meet people from around the world and experience my next chapter.

Hoi! Ik ben Egbert Menno, 23 jaar, en vanaf september begin ik aan de master Aerospace Engineering aan de TU Delft. Hiervoor heb ik Applied Physics gestudeerd in Groningen en daarom ben ik op zoek naar een fijne kamer in Rotterdam of Delft. In mijn vrije tijd ga ik graag naar de sportschool, reis ik graag, maak ik af en toe foto’s en spreek ik graag af met vrienden. De afgelopen jaren ben ik actief geweest bij Top Dutch Solar Racing, waar ik samen met het team een zonneauto heb ontwikkeld voor de Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australië. Het was een unieke ervaring waar ik met veel plezier op terugkijk. Als huisgenoot ben ik rustig, sociaal en netjes. Ik vind het belangrijk dat de gezamenlijke ruimtes schoon en opgeruimd blijven en draag daar graag mijn steentje aan bij. Daarnaast lijkt het me gezellig om af en toe samen te eten, een drankje te doen of gewoon even bij te praten, terwijl ik het ook prima vind als iedereen zijn eigen ding doet. Ik ben op zoek naar een gezellig huis waar iedereen respectvol met elkaar omgaat en waar ruimte is voor zowel gezelligheid als ieders eigen leven. Hoi :) Mijn naam is Xenia, ik ben 25 en begin volgend semester met mijn master Robotics aan de TU Delft. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag, kook en bak ik af en toe (ik maak echt heerlijk bananenbrood, dus er blijven geen bruine bananen over in huis) en ik leer momenteel basgitaar spelen. Ik heb mijn bachelor in Zuid-Duitsland gedaan, plus een semester in Zuid-Korea. Ik heb alleen gewoond, in een appartement met huisgenoten en in een gedeelde studentenkamer.
