I’m a former merchant mariner who is looking to rent a room in the Netherlands to both find work, and attend University

Looking for an apartment in or around Amsterdam! I’m originally from South Africa and have been living in the Netherlands for nearly three years — and I absolutely love it here. I recently graduated from the MSc Statistics and Data Science program at Leiden University and have just started full-time employment. I’m looking for a long-term rental (starting as soon as possible), but I’m open to alternative arrangements as well. I’m clean, non-smoking, and have no pets. I can also provide references from previous landlords if needed. A bit about me: I enjoy reading, exercising, and spending time outdoors. I'm also currently learning Dutch!

Both my parents work well-paying, stable jobs in Romania, earning a combined total of arround 5500 euro per month, while living in a house we own.
