Hello! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I would love my independence and a studio or apartment, but I also understand the housing shortage yields few or unaffordable rentals, so I'd be open to discussing sharing in a bright, comfortable place with someone kind and respectful, who appreciates some privacy and room to breathe. :) I have no pets, but huge bonus if you do! ;) Registration is necessary. Hoii, ik ben Milou, 23 jaar en na een tussenjaar ga ik weer beginnen met studeren. Ik ga dit doen bij fontys en hoop dan ook een kamer te vinden in Eindhoven om iets leuks van mijn studenten tijd te maken (en wat minder reistijd is natuurlijk ook erg prettig ;) ) Ik vind het gezellig om dingen samen te doen met anderen, maar kan ook mijn tijd alleen erg waarderen. Ik vind het prettig als mijn omgeving enigszins netjes is en probeer dat zelf dan ook zo te houden. Verder hou ik ervan om te reizen en nieuwe plekken te ontdekken, ook zit ik graag met vrienden op het terras met een drankje en uiteraard wat bittergarnituur erbij, of lees ik lekker een boek in de zon.
