I'd describe myself as outgoing, open-minded and energetic, but I equally enjoy calm and cozy evenings at home. I love music (playing and listening), spending time in nature, and sports like running and climbing. As a housemate I'm easy to live with: clean, respectful of shared spaces, and I do my part without having to be asked. I enjoy having a good connection with my housemates, but I also value everyone having their own space. My girlfriend is Dutch, so my spoken Dutch is already at a decent level and I'd love to use it more day to day (writing is still the harder part, hence this text in English). Hey! Ik ben Abe, 19 jaar en vanaf september begin ik met een studie aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Vanwege de lange reistijd zoek ik daarom een kamer in Utrecht. Ik heb eerder al in een studentenkamer in Eindhoven gewoond, dus ik ben het studentenleven en het delen van een huis al gewend. Ik vind het juist leuk om met huisgenoten te wonen: samen eten, een drankje doen of gewoon even bijkletsen, maar natuurlijk ook gewoon lekker je eigen ding kunnen doen. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik vooral veel met muziek bezig. Ik geef ongeveer 8 uur per week pianoles en speel daarnaast in verschillende bands en bij musicals en optredens. Ook ben ik regelmatig te vinden bij concerten, optredens, muziekbars en clubs. Naast mijn pianolessen werk ik parttime bij een software-startup.
