Hi, my name is Paul and I'm moving to the Netherlands to pursue my Master's in Design for Interaction at TU Delft – a dream I've been working towards for a long time. I'm originally from Germany, studied and worked in Design in Weimar, and I'm someone who genuinely loves shared living. I've lived in shared apartments for 5 years, so I know what makes it work: mutual respect, clear boundaries, being there for each other, and keeping shared spaces clean and comfortable. Living together well is something I take seriously – and enjoy. Outside of studies I love cycling, hiking, sitting in cafés, and exploring new places. I'm looking forward to building a real home, not just a temporary stay. What I bring along: a great vinyl/CD collection, useful household appliances, and furniture for shared spaces if needed. Wat ik meeneem: een mooie cd-collectie, handige huishoudelijke apparaten en eventueel meubels voor de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes. Financieel sta ik er goed voor: ik heb spaargeld en ga naast mijn studie parttime werken, dus de huur wordt altijd op tijd betaald. Ik ben Renzo, 22 jaar oud, en ik ben op zoek naar een mooie plek om te gaan wonen tijdens mijn master Robotics aan de UT vanaf komend schooljaar. Eerst een beetje over mijn situatie: Ik studeer momenteel af voor mijn HBO Elektrotechniek in Leeuwarden, en ik zit nu voor mijn afstudeerstage een half jaar in Brazilië (waar ik het super leuk heb). In het collegejaar 2024-2025 heb ik in Enschede al een premaster gedaan als minor, wat mij toen fantastisch beviel. Ik onderhuurde toen in een gemengd studentenhuis op de campuslaan. Daar heb ik erg genoten van het Twentse studentenleven en de opleiding. Ik ben op zoek naar een gezellig huis waar regelmatig samen wordt gegeten en waar we spontaan een drankje kunnen doen. Ik ben zeker in voor huisavonden, feestjes en avondjes uit, maar ik hou ook nog wel van af en toe van rust pakken en soms moet er ook tijd besteed worden aan de studie. Een goede balans tussen gezelligheid, studeren, en relaxen past perfect bij mij. Verder heb ik vrij brede interesses, een beetje een 'jack of all trades, master of some'. Ik sport graag in de sportschool en ben van plan om het boulderen binnenkort weer actief op te pakken. Ik ga ook graag op actieve vakanties. Zo ben ik vorig jaar naar de Alpen gegaan om te hiken en ben ik met de fiets naar Zwitserland gegaan. Thuis vermaak ik me met lezen, series/films kijken, gamen of werken aan kleine hobbyprojectjes. Daarnaast ben ik altijd in voor nieuwe dingen proberen, een bordspelletje op tafel gooien of lekker eten maken. Qua huishouden heb je aan mij een makkelijke. Ik vind koken erg leuk om te doen, en het is voor mij geen enkel probleem om schoon te maken of klusjes in huis op te pakken. Ik heb nu ook al twee keer op mijzelf gewoond, dus dat is allemaal niks nieuws voor me. Omdat ik voor mijn afstuderen nu nog aan de andere kant van de oceaan zit, kan ik tot ~1 juli alleen online hospiteren. Daarna ben ik weer terug in Nederland en kan ik natuurlijk met alle plezier fysiek langskomen!
