My name is Valeriya, I am a Master student in Sustainable and Circular Chemistry at Utrecht University. The program is until September 2027 and then I will be enrolled to a PhD program at UU. My general rule is, I dont do drugs but I dont put my nose in what other people do. When not working I enjoy spending my time at home or walking around with my photographic camera. Im an avid amatour photographer and shoot both in digital and on film. As I am a computer nerd by nature I prefer spending the time at home tinkering with my computers and doing online activities. Next to that I like to spend the evenings watching films or series or reading a good book. When it comes to my home Im very protective of it and I have the need to keep everything in order. While not a party type of any sort I do understand the value of inviting people to the home for some fun but generally I prefer meeting people out on the town so during weekends I might prefer to spend the whole day in one of Europes big cities for some fun. I came to the Netherlands to do my PhD in artificial intelligence, and for the past 3 years I have been working as a Lecturer in AI at the University of Groningen. Starting in June, I will begin a new position at Leiden University as a Lecturer in the Computer Science department. I am looking for a temporary place in Leiden for up to six months, where I can stay three to four nights per week while I get to know the city better and search for a permanent place.
