I'll be studying English language and culture and I plan to focus on my studies while I explore my surroundings and meet new people, I also have working experience and plan on working part-time besides my studies. In my free time I really enjoy photography, design, staying in and watching movies, shows, or reading books. I enjoy social outings but I also appreciate some quiet time for myself. I am looking for a comfortable room where I can settle down for at least a few months (If more is possible that is great, but if not that is okay too) until I get to know the city and people around me. I do not smoke and I do not have any pets either. For the past four years, since I was 15, I was attending a Secondary vocational school in Slovakia and because of that I have been living in a dormitory most of the time. Thanks to this I am already used to sharing bathrooms, kitchens or livingrooms with other people. I am respectful of others and their personal space. Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!

Hey, Marius here! Just moved to Amsterdam a few weeks ago to work at Flying Pig Downtown and I'm looking for permanent accomodation. I've been working or volunteering in hostels for a while, so I became very welcoming and friendly. My favourite activity with my friends or guests? Playing Minecraft until late and joking around. Ever since I arrived here I realized I really like cycling around (very recreationally, you won't find me with the skinny cyclist suit yet). When it comes to how I live, I've often been complimented on how clean I keep my room (to the point where even my mom was proud, big achievement). I also don't smoke or have pets.
