Hi! I'm a PhD student and Teaching Fellow coming to the Netherlands to conduct my research in the field of psychology. When not at the university, I will be either writing my PhD thesis, cooking (so if you are the person who likes talking to flatmates in the kitchen, I'm your girl) or doing one-day excursions around the Netherlands (I love art so I plan to see as many museums as possible). Apart from Poland, I used to live in the UK (London) and Canada (Montreal) - almost always with flatmates. I respect your privacy and always leave the shared space after myself clean. This summer I will be travelling with my 14-year old cat. Due to her age she usually sleeps, especially when I'm not around to entertain her. I have already obtained a degree in Comparative Literature Studies and will be starting another Bachelor in Psychology in September of 2024 at Leiden University. Therefore I am currently on the lookout for possible housing opportunities, where I can stay for the duration of my studies. I consider myself an easy-going person, who enjoys a little company from time to time, but can easily keep to myself as well. In the past I have already had lots of experiences living by myself as well as host families. Therefore I believe that I am rather knwoledgeable about how the process of renting a room and the interactions and obligations that come with it work. In my free time I love to read, go to cafes, meet up with friends and relax in my room. I think I have a lot of qualities that might prove to be of importance when considering me as a tenant, since I am tidy, organized, straightforward and, above all else, very passionate about my goals. I don't need a lot of space, since I can manage with the bare minimum, and am financially stable, which I am happy to provide proof of. Ik ben recent toegelaten tot de Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten in Den Haag waar ik Grafisch Design zal studeren. Ik word 21 in Juni, en ben momenteel een andere studie in design aan het afronden in Eindhoven. Ik zou mezelf omschrijven als een kalm persoon; Ik hou van fietsen door de stad, het lezen van boeken (design & filosofie), en het kijken van goeie films. Ook boulder (indoor klimmen) ik een paar keer per maand, dus ik zoek ook indirect voor een paar klim maatjes! Ik zoek een gezellig huis waar men hun eigen ding doet, maar het ook leuk vind om af en toe iets samen te doen!

In mijn vrije tijd vind ik niets leuker dan in een zachte fauteuil met een mooie boek en een kopje thee te ontspannen, en ik hou ook van koken, bakken, allerlei kleine mooie dingen maken en Dungeons & Dragons met mijn vrienden spelen. I am a 26 years old Italian full time worker in one of the most beautif hotel in Amsterda, Hotel Okura. I graduated in Oriental Comparative Cultures and Languages. I’m from Sicily, and I also lived in Naples for 4 years when I studied for my bachelor's degree. In Naples, I lived in a shared house with other 4 people, so I’m already used to the idea of living in a shared house. I also lived for a brief period of my life in London. I’m a very quiet, liable and neat person, I like having time for myself but I also love to hung up and having a few friends around. Furthermore, I like to read, and watching movies and series. I also enjoy cooking, and I am a pro with Japanese food. I studied languages most of my life and I speak several languages like Spanish, French and also Japanese, and of course Italian too. I had a great time and a pretty good friendship with my oldest housemates, and I am hoping to have a similar relationship with my new one too. 

Hoi ik ben Veronique, ik ga aankomend jaar psychologie studeren in Nijmegen! Vrienden zijn voor mij heel belangrijk, daarom ga ik vaak in het weekend iets met hun doen. Het maakt niet uit of dit nou lekker eten is, op stap gaan of gewoon gezellig bijpraten. In het weekend ben ik ook vaak bij de carnavalsvereniging waar we naar ballen en feesten gaan. Ik kom dan ook uit het mooie Brabant. Verder werk ik bij de McDonald’s als manager. Ik sport 3 dagen in de week, waarbij ik op hockey en voetbal zit. Zoals je misschien leest ben ik een best actief persoon, maar ik vind het ook heerlijk om een avondje op de bank te zitten en films te kijken of lekker iets te bakken.
