Hi everyone! I’m Irene, Italian, originally from Bergamo but living in Perugia for the past two years. I’m a (forensic) psychologist, now doing my PhD in Gender Studies, but my research and daily work in Perugia are still rooted in psychology. From October I’ll be moving to Tilburg for six months for my visiting research period at Tilburg University – and that’s why I’m looking for a place to stay! Ideally, I’d love to find something in Tilburg, but I’m also open to nearby areas if they’re well connected by train. I’ve lived in Maastricht before, where I completed my MSc in Forensic Psychology, and then spent about a year in Rotterdam – probably the Dutch city I love the most, although I honestly consider the Netherlands as a whole my second home. Who knows, maybe I’ll be back living here for good once I finish my PhD in Italy! As for me: people say I’m nice and easy-going :) I enjoy talking and listening to other people’s stories and just having a good chat. At the same time, I also like quality time on my own – listening to music, reading, watching series, or enjoying the outdoors. I love cycling (gravel is my favorite!), running, and swimming. I also adore long walks in nature, and I never miss a chance to take pictures of flowers, the sky, or anything that catches my eye. Hoi, mijn naam is Ole. Ik ben 21 jaar, kom uit Rotterdam en studeer Werktuigbouwkunde aan de TU. Daarnaast ben ik eerstejaars actief bij Laga. Ik ben 204 cm lang (nee, ik speel geen basketbal) en in mijn vrije tijd ga ik graag boulderen/klimmen of ben ik bezig met een van mijn werktuigbouwkundige projecten. Uiteraard roei ik ook met mijn ploeg bij Laga, wij zijn waarschijnlijk de slechtste van de vereniging. Ik ben op zoek naar een gezellig en actief huis waar we samen biertjes kunnen doen en huisavonden kunnen houden, maar waar het tijdens de tentamenperiode ook gewoon mogelijk is om serieus te studeren. I also like exercising and various sports, every week I go to RSC for an Aikido lesson (which is a harmonious and harmless martial arts).
