Hi! I’m Hannes - 22-year-old product designer from Bavaria (near Munich, Germany) and I will start my Master’s at TU Delft 1st of September. I’m currently looking for a room in a shared flat from August / mid-August, and I plan to stay in Delft for around 2 years for my Master’s. I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Technical Design and I’m very passionate about design, furniture, and DIY projects. I have my own 3D printer and really enjoy building and creating things. I’m also very into sports. I played ice hockey for many years at a high level, and nowadays I love road cycling, mountain biking, going to the gym, and skiing. Even though I love the mountains, I’m really excited about living in the Netherlands and especially looking forward to cycling here – I even have a few vintage road bikes :) As a person, I’m clean, disciplined, and respectful in shared spaces. I like to keep things organized and comfortable for everyone. At the same time, I’m social and enjoy student life. I like going out (especially techno and different music genres), having beers with friends, and spending time together. I’d say I’m a good mix of relaxed and responsible. A little bit about me: I have a very regular lifestyle and no bad habits. I do not have pets, and I do not smoke, use weed, or drink heavily. I usually go to bed around 11 pm and wake up around 7 to 8 am, so I would not make noise late at night or disturb others. I am also a very tidy and considerate person. I clean my room every week, and I always clean up immediately after cooking or using the bathroom, so I would not leave a mess or cause inconvenience to others. I am very interested in music and I play the cello, although unfortunately I did not bring it with me to the Netherlands. As a result, when I am free, I prefer to enjoy reading and soft music. The only thing I really value in shared living is that the common area stays quiet during resting hours at night and that there are no loud gatherings late in the evening.
