I am 36 years old with a career as civil servant / legal specialist in my native country Finland and abroad. I have lived in France, Russia, Central America and the US for different study or work activities. I am now pursuing a social science degree with the aim of doing research and/or writing about and working with sustainability in some form. I love spending time in the nature, cultural and community activities and couple dancing.

Hoi! Ik ben Daniel (27), oorspronkelijk uit Duitsland, en vanaf oktober begin ik als fulltime onderzoeksmedewerker aan de TU Delft, waar ik onderzoek doe binnen de sociologie van klimaatfinanciering. Mijn contract is voor één jaar, maar het kan uitgroeien tot een promotietraject. Voor nu kijk ik vooral of een carrière in de wetenschap bij mij past. Ik heb net mijn studie in Londen afgerond en kijk er erg naar uit om aan mijn eerste "echte" baan te beginnen. Een kleine waarschuwing: ik spreek nog geen Nederlands (alleen Duits, Engels en een beetje Spaans), maar ik ben zeker van plan om het te leren. Ik ben een ontspannen en gezellige huisgenoot, kook graag (meestal vegetarisch) en ben makkelijk om mee samen te wonen. Ik woon al jaren in gedeelde huizen en vind dat nog steeds erg leuk. I’ve just finished my studies in London, and I’m really excited to begin my first “real” job. A small heads-up: I don’t speak Dutch yet (only German, English and Spanish-ish), but learning it is the plan. I’m easygoing, love to cook (mostly veggie) and generally uncomplicated to live with.
