Wij zijn Joris en Meike. We zijn allebei opgegroeid in Deventer en wonen mmenteel in Maastricht, waar we allebei hebben gestudeerd. Omdat we graag weer dichter richting ‘huis’ willen wonen, willen we naar Nijmegen verhuizen. Joris gaat na de zomer zeer waarschijnlijk fulltime voor de overheid werken in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Ik werk momenteel bij het Openbaar Ministerie en start binnenkort met mijn master aan de universiteit in Nijmegen. Omdat we beiden veel met het openbaar vervoer reizen, gaat onze voorkeur gaat uit naar een appartement op loopafstand van een station. Wij zijn allebei netjes, rustig en handig. We wonen inmiddels ruim drie jaar in ons appartement in Maastricht en hebben in die tijd nooit hulp van onze huisbaas hoeven vragen, bijvoorbeeld voor reparaties of onderhoud. Wij zoeken dan ook een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen die we ons thuis kunnen noemen.

I’m also pretty handy when it comes to DIY, so small things that need fixing are never a problem! Outside of my studies, I’m very active and love sport - tennis, kitesurfing, foil, surfing, skiing, wakeboarding, and hiking are all part of my life. I also have a real passion for food - I love cooking and eating well, with a good mix of Spanish and British influences thrown in. My parents are fully supportive of my move and are available to act as guarantors if required, so there is no concern regarding rent payments. I’m excited to be coming to Eindhoven and looking forward to life at TU/e. I’d love to find somewhere I can settle in, study hard, and explore everything the area has to offer.
