Hello! I'm Rúben and I am from Portugal. I'm a pianist and a newcomer to Maastricht. My musical interests vary a lot but I have a particular deep passion for both contemporary music and video game soundtracks. I am part of a quite active quartet and so most of the time I am busy scheduling concerts and rehearsals for us. My hobbies are quite minimal: reading, writing a bit, and playing on the Switch. At least twice a week I also like to go out running, truly only so I can say I do some sport. Now about behaviour, although I am quite social I am a very quiet person, this means that I will always try to the little noise with others around (however, just to be clear, if left alone, I may just leave music a bit loud...). I also like to schedule my time on the kitchen, I usually cook for the next two to three days so I'll be taking at least 1h30/2h of the kitchen's at least twice or thrice a week. I am 21 years old and I originally come from Hungary, though I lived most of my life abroad, as I grew up in Brussels (where I also live currently) and also resided in Zoeterwoude-Dorp for a period of 3 years throughout my bachelor’s studies at Leiden University. I recently got admitted to the Child and Adolescent Psychology master’s programme at Leiden University to pursue my dream of helping young people with their mental health difficulties on a daily basis. Furthermore, I am also always considerate towards the surroundings of my habitat, such as my neighbours. For example, the building where I lived during my 3 years in Zoeterwoude-Dorp was majoritarily inhabited by elderly people, hence I found it a priority to not disturb their peace and maintain a friendly relationship with them. Throughout my 3 years living there, I have never had any issues or disagreements with my landlord or the neighbours. Being an active member of the university football team at Leiden University, I like to spend most of my time, besides studying and working as an online tutor, outdoors. Furthermore, I do not smoke and do not have any pets.
