Ik ben Mara, 22 jaar en woon momenteel in Nijmegen. Momenteel die doe ik een tussenjaar na een Bachelor Psychologie. Tijdens mijn studententijd stond ik altijd open voor contact met medestudenten. Zo nam ik deel aan een studentenvereniging gericht op theater en deed ik mee aan verschillende cursussen in sport zoals badminton en boksen. Met vrienden vind ik het erg leuk goede gesprekken te voeren, te wandelen en iets te drinken in een café. Zelf sport ik graag, houd ik van tekenen, lezen en series en films kijken. Ook werk ik al anderhalf jaar bij een mentale support lijn waarbij ik emotionele ondersteuning bied aan jongvolwassenen. Tijdens mijn tussenjaar ben ik gaan reizen door verschillende landen in Europa en doe ik vrijwilligerswerk waarbij ik in contact kom met mensen van verschillende religies en culturen. Zo werk ik momenteel in een boeddhistisch centrum en ga ik binnenkort werken in een vluchtelingenkamp. Dit sluit ook aan bij de master die ik wil gaan doen in Groningen; Applied Social Psychology. Daarnaast heb ik ook allerlei verschillende sporten uitgeprobeerd zoals zeilen, go karting en duiken. Ik zou mezelf beschrijven als iemand die open staat voor contact met anderen, nieuwsgierig, hardwerkend en betrouwbaar is. In verband met mijn master zoek ik vanaf uiterlijk september een kamer in Groningen :)

We vinden het allebei leuk om te reizen en nieuwe plekjes en dingen te ontdekken. Maar kunnen er allebei ook van genieten om lekker samen op de bank met een serie te liggen. Wij wonen allebei al een langere tijd in het mooie Nijmegen en willen nu de stap maken om samen te wonen. We hebben een gezamenlijk arbeidsinkomen rond de €1500 per maand, met een totaal inkomen rond de €3500 per maand. Ook hebben we garantstellers, mocht dit mogelijk/nodig zijn.

I love cooking (quick during the week, experimental on weekends), being outdoors, especially around water, and I have a serious soft spot for plants (both keeping them alive and collecting more).
