Hey, I’m Nicolas, 18 years old, and I’m looking for a room in Enschede to study at Saxion University of Applied Sciences. When people see me at parties, they often think I’ve had one too many drinks, but I actually don’t drink at all. I love to dance, socialize and have fun, but I also prioritize my studies and my health. I really enjoy exercising and playing sports, I run and do calisthenics. I’ve had plenty of experience living with strangers and colleagues in different places, so responsibility and communication in a shared house are things I’m used to. 29 jarige student op zoek naar een kamer of kleine studio. Sept '26 begin ik bij de UvA de opleiding Kunstmatige Intelligentie. Vroeger werkte ik als software consultant, maar sinds 2024 studeer ik. Ik vind lezen en buiten zijn leuk; ik klim af en toe. Daarnaast vind ik technologie ook leuk en ben ik vaak aan het experimenteren met diverse tech en applicaties. Mijn naam is Floris. Momenteel ben ik op zoek naar een fijne studio, woning of kamer waar ik me echt thuis kan voelen. Vanaf september begin ik aan de bachelor Geschiedenis aan de universiteit. Dat is een nieuwe stap waar ik ontzettend naar uitkijk, en daarom hoop ik een prettige plek te vinden om deze periode van mijn leven te starten. Ik ben een rustig, sociaal en verantwoordelijk persoon. Ik houd mijn woonruimte graag netjes en vind het belangrijk om rekening te houden met de mensen om me heen. Een fijne en respectvolle woonomgeving betekent veel voor mij. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik vaak te vinden op het voetbalveld of in de sportschool. Daarnaast luister ik graag naar muziek (uiteraard met een koptelefoon) en bezoek ik regelmatig een filmhuis. Ik geniet van een rustige en gezellige sfeer en ben geen feestganger. Ik hoop dat u mij de kans wilt geven om kennis te maken. Het zou voor mij heel bijzonder zijn om van deze studio of woning mijn nieuwe thuis te mogen maken. I am a 24-year-old Canadian law student from Toronto. I have been in Groningen since August 2025. I came to Groningen as part of my Canadian University’s partnership with RUG that allowed me to finish my Canadian Juris Doctor degree and enabled me to get an LLM at RUG. As such, currently, I have completed the Juris Doctor degree and am wrapping up my LLM in Law and Technology at the RUG. In Canada, the study of law is exclusively a graduate study. As a result, I also have an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Toronto. Initially, I planned to go back to Toronto for work after the completion of my study in Groningen. However, I have fallen in love with the city and its walkability/cyclability. As a result, I plan to stay in the city for some time and establish a legal career in Europe. Currently, I am in the process of searching for a legal job. In the meantime, I have lined up some part time work to keep up with expenses. Although surprised, my family is supportive of my decision to stay in Groningen and are willing to act as my financial safety net, if needed.
