I work from the office always, and weekends I can be out and about quite a bit. So even if I am probably not going to be around much, I still want to find a place that feels like a home and where people take care of the shared space. I have lived in many different shared houses already, I'm used to it and I'm fairly easy to get along with and adaptable. Ik ben 18 jaar en kijk er erg naar uit om in Twente te gaan wonen. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik graag creatief en praktisch bezig. Ik werk vaak aan projecten waarbij ik iets maak, zoals borduurwerk, elektronische projectjes of sleutelen aan motoren. Daarnaast is muziek een groot deel van mijn leven: ik speel gitaar en piano, probeer af en toe iets in FL Studio te maken en luister natuurlijk ook veel muziek. Verder ben ik ook zeker niet vies van af en toe een avond gamen. Omdat Breda best ver van Twente ligt, verwacht ik niet elk weekend op en neer te gaan en zal ik dus veel in Twente blijven. Juist daarom lijkt het me leuk om een goede band op te bouwen met huisgenoten — of dat nou samen eten, spontaan iets ondernemen, iets maken of gewoon een goed gesprek is.

I'm Justin (he/him), a 26-year-old American composer and violinist moving to The Hague in August 2026 on a Fulbright US Student Grant to study computer music at the Institute of Sonology (Royal Conservatoire). My project involves composing a new work for spatial audio using field recordings from The Hague—so I'll be spending a lot of time with headphones on, not throwing parties :) Looking to move in in mid-August but flexible with the date. I'm quiet, clean, and easygoing—I currently work as a music therapist and teach violin to kids, so I keep fairly regular hours. Outside of music I practice Zen meditation and watch way too many animated shows. I grew up on the East Coast and have lived in New York, New Mexico, and Seattle, so I'm adaptable and used to navigating new cities. I'm looking for a studio or a room in a shared apartment (ideally at least semi-furnished, private or semi-private bathroom) in The Hague or nearby — Delft also works great. Budget €800–1,100/month. My grant is guaranteed funding from the US government, so there are no income concerns. Happy to do a video call with any landlord or housemates before committing — I think it's important for everyone to feel comfortable.
