Hoi! Ik ben Rodrigo, een Latino uit Guatemala! Ik woon al 5 jaar in Nederland en werk nu bij een leuk bedrijf als datawetenschapper in Nieuwegein. Ik ben op zoek naar een woning voor een korte periode (ongeveer 6 maanden). Ik heb een superlieve reus van een Duitse dog. Ze is al wat ouder, dus we laten haar liever niet naar boven gaan vanwege haar heupen. (Daarom is een woning op de begane grond meer dan perfect.) We zijn allebei makkelijk in de omgang en sociaal. Wat mij betreft doe ik mijn best om zoveel mogelijk in het Nederlands te spreken, ook al is Spaans mijn moedertaal! Hoi! Ik ben Daniel (27), oorspronkelijk uit Duitsland, en vanaf oktober begin ik als fulltime onderzoeksmedewerker aan de TU Delft, waar ik onderzoek doe binnen de sociologie van klimaatfinanciering. Mijn contract is voor één jaar, maar het kan uitgroeien tot een promotietraject. Voor nu kijk ik vooral of een carrière in de wetenschap bij mij past. Ik heb net mijn studie in Londen afgerond en kijk er erg naar uit om aan mijn eerste "echte" baan te beginnen. Een kleine waarschuwing: ik spreek nog geen Nederlands (alleen Duits, Engels en een beetje Spaans), maar ik ben zeker van plan om het te leren. Ik ben een ontspannen en gezellige huisgenoot, kook graag (meestal vegetarisch) en ben makkelijk om mee samen te wonen. Ik woon al jaren in gedeelde huizen en vind dat nog steeds erg leuk. Of het huis nu heel sociaal is of juist wat rustiger, allebei is prima – zolang we niet alleen als vreemden langs elkaar heen leven. I’ve just finished my studies in London, and I’m really excited to begin my first “real” job. A small heads-up: I don’t speak Dutch yet (only German, English and Spanish-ish), but learning it is the plan. I’m easygoing, love to cook (mostly veggie) and generally uncomplicated to live with. I’ve lived in shared flats for many years and genuinely enjoy it. Whether the flat is more social or more on the quiet side, I’m happy with both - as long as we are not just co-existing as strangers. In my free time, I like doing sports, especially rugby, being outdoors, playing the piano, and grabbing the occasional cold drink. Shared meals are definitely an option as well.
