Hi! I'm 19 and I've already been living in the Netherlands since August 2025 and know a bit of Dutch. I started studying Industrial Design Engineering at THUAS in September, but already quit (because they were really bad at teaching). I have a part-time job since February. I'm going to study Industrial Design at TU Eindhoven from September, but I'm ready to move a few months earlier. My hobbies/interests are varied, but generally I like thinking about (abstract) stuff and designing/creating things. In my free time I like listening to music, learning stuff and talking with friends. I'm interested in this offer and I'd like to learn more about the house and the other people who live there.

Mijn hobbies zijn verder: lezen, schaken, koken, het leren van Italiaans, hardlopen, en ook ga ik graag naar de sportschool. Verder rook ik niet, en heb ik ook geen huisdieren. I have been working at FedEx Duiven for over 12 months as a parcel sorter/forklift driver. I work through a work agency and I understand that landlords are very put off by that, but I can assure you that my position is completely firm and there is virtually no chance of me getting laid off. Very quiet:  no music, no partying, no loud noises. No drinking or any substances nor smoking. I prefer mostly solitary way of living with my lifestyle revolving around mindfulness, self inquiry, meditation and general focus on my health. Respectful to those around me:  while I don't speak Dutch and am not particularly social, I am polite at all times and I keep in mind the wellbeing of others. I'm calm, warm, and probably easier to live with than to describe in a paragraph, but here we go. I grew up on the Costa Brava, so the sea, slow mornings and being outside are kind of my baseline. I came to the Netherlands for an Erasmus semester and ended up genuinely loving the rhythm of life here. My free time tends to land somewhere between the gym, a book, a yard with horses, long walks, a glass of wine with the few people I'm close to, or crocheting on the sofa (yes, granny hobby, fully embraced). As a roommate I'm tidy, I enjoy sharing food and a real conversation, and I respect quiet evenings just as much. I show up for the shared stuff (groceries, cleaning, the random "we need a new lightbulb" moments), and I'm honest if something's bothering me rather than letting it build.
