Hoi! Wij zijn Jasmine (21jr) en Dennis (23jr) en we zijn op zoek naar een lange termijn huurwoning. Wij zijn dit jaar 4 jaar samen. Wij wonen al samen sinds 2025 in Rotterdam, maar helaas loopt ons tijdelijke huurcontract binnenkort af. We zoeken momenteel een stekkie waar we samen wat langer kunnen verblijven! Qua hobby's en interesses houdt Jasmine veel van lezen en hardlopen, en Dennis houdt van sporten en koken. Verder leven wij heel rustig! Jasmine werkt bij EY als senior consultant, en Dennis begint binnenkort aan zijn master in econometrie wat hij zal afronden in 2027/2028.

I am looking for a studio/apartment/house for me and my girlfriend, Joana Ferreira, Portuguese and also 25 years old.  Both of us are doing our PhD in Cancer Researcher in Portugal, together with the Leiden University Medical Center. Our monthly payment is provided by the Foundation for Science and Technology, which is the government entity in Portugal responsible for paying PhD students. Each of us earns 2218€ per month, with also a first additional income for housing deposits and travel. We can provide the needed documents to prove this. Both of us are well humored, calm, organized and unproblematic people. We both give a lot of importance to a clean, organized and quiet home.We enjoy hanging out and getting to know new places, go on walks and participate in the community around us but also enjoy cozy days at home watching movies and TV shows. I must add that I have already lived in Leiden for 6 months from july to december 2025 (I can also send proof of this and provide contact of my previous landlords ). This gives me already a notion of what it is like living in the Netherlands. Additionally we have 2 small dogs. Well behaved, trained and used to live indoors. Because of that we are open to pay a caution of value that you see fit. To show you we are serious in staying in the Netherlands and that we are able to deal with rental we are open to pay upfront X months of rent (depending on the rent amount). We can move in on the first weeks of March. As we are in Portugal currently we are not able to visit the apartment. If it is possible it would be ideal if we could do the visit via videocall or by sending a friend to see the house for us. We are open to any questions you may have.
