Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). Hoihoi! Ik ben Koen, kom uit Goes en ben net gestart met mijn studie geneeskunde aan de RU. Na Na een leuk tussenjaar heb ik veel zin om in Nijmegen te studeren. Ik zoek leuke plek om er ook te wonen, want elke dag ruim vijf uur reistijd vanuit Zeeland is niet te doen. Afgelopen jaar heb ik in de winter skiles gegeven in Oostenrijk en in de zomer bij de animatie op een camping gewerkt. Bij allebei deelde ik een huis samen met leeftijdsgenoten en dat is me prima bevallen. Ik vind het gezellig om mensen in de buurt te hebben en bijvoorbeeld samen te koken, te eten, een spelletje te doen of de stad in te gaan. Tegelijkertijd kan ik ook prima mijn eigen ding doen zelf in mijn kamer. Het lijkt me gezellig om in een leuk studentenhuis te wonen, maar ik zou ook heel blij zijn met een studio of kamer bij een hospita in huis. In mijn vrije tijd houd ik veel van muziek, ik speel piano en een beetje gitaar. Ik ben ook graag een beetje sportief bezig, dus ga ik in Nijmegen ook weer roeien. Ik ben vrolijk, sociaal, best opgeruimd, rook niet en een schoonmaakrooster is voor mij ook geen probleem.
