In Wageningen heb ik 5,5 jaar in een zelfstandige studio gewoond en momenteel verblijf ik tijdelijk in Denemarken voor een onderzoeksstage.

Hai, ik ben Nathalie (18 jaar), ik kom uit Deventer en ga in september bewegingswetenschappen studeren in Groningen. Ik houd van hockey, reizen, een gezellig feestje, werken in de horeca, spelletjes en soms lekker op de bank zitten en een serie kijken. Afgelopen jaar heb ik een tussenjaar gehad. Ik heb de afgelopen tijd dan ook veel gewerkt en gereisd. Ik ben naar Malaga geweest (5 weken) en naar Zuid-Afrika, Eswatini en Mozambique (2,5 maand). Ik vond het dan ook heerlijk om even een jaartje rust te hebben van school/studie, maar heb nu ook wel mega veel zin in het studentenleven! Ik heb een zus die nu ook al wat jaartjes in Groningen studeert, en door haar verhalen kijk ik er ook heel erg naar uit om in Groningen te studeren en wonen! Ik ben dan ook niet helemaal onbekend met de stad. Het lijkt me leuk om in een gezellig studentenhuis te wonen en samen leuke dingen te doen (koken, spelletjes, uitgaan of gewoon lekker kletsen :)). Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar.
