Greetings, My name is Matěj. I am a 23-year-old student who grew up in Prague, Czechia. In August, I have successfully graduated with honours from the three year bachelor programme of Economics and Business Economics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. From September, I am continuing my studies in the Netherlands at University van Amsterdam where I am attending Master’s in Finance.  Throughout the three years of living abroad, I have learned to take care of myself and my immediate surroundings. I am a very tidy individual, who enjoys cooking, cycling, and playing squash or tennis in my free time. During my time renting in Amsterdam, I have been commended for my ability to resolve problems proactively and in a timely manner, as well as for my cleanliness and communication skills. I can ask my previous landlord for a recommendation letter if needed. Currently, I am looking for a place to call home for the duration of my Master’s studies. I’m Sara, I’m 29 years old and I’m Italian. I’m currently doing a PhD in Italy in Turin, where I’ve been living for the past 10 years. I’m originally from Sardinia, so I’m quite used to living far from home, moving around and living in rented apartments! Now I’m moving to Utrecht for a semester at the Science Park, and I’m really excited about this new experience. I would say I’m a very outgoing person. I love meeting new people, having long conversations and spending evenings together, especially if there is some good food and a nice glass of wine involved.... but I’m also happy with a cold beer! I’m quite active and I love going for long walks, exploring new places and sometimes just getting lost in the streets of a city and taking pictures along the way. I love dancing and cooking, but despite being quite an outgoing person, I also really enjoy having some time for myself, reading a book at home. One thing you’ll probably learn about me pretty quickly is that I’m slightly obsessed with Hungary. I spent a year there as an exchange student when I was in high school, more than 10 years ago, and I still talk about it way too much. My friends are honestly tired of hearing the same stories by now!
