Hi! My name is Tessa, I’m 23 years old and originally from the Black Forest in southern Germany. I’m currently studying Health Sciences in Berlin and will be spending four months in Maastricht for my Erasmus semester – something I’m really excited about! Growing up close to nature, I love being outdoors and staying active. My favorite sports are skiing, handball, and tennis. I also enjoy creative and quiet moments – painting and reading are two things I really value in my free time. My roots are closely connected to the Netherlands – both of my parents are from Beek, and a large part of my family still lives there. That’s why I’m especially looking forward to spending more time in Maastricht: improving my Dutch, reconnecting with my grandparents, and experiencing the Dutch lifestyle more deeply. I would describe myself as open-minded, responsible, and easy to live with.
