Hello! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I would love my independence and a studio or apartment, but I also understand the housing shortage yields few or unaffordable rentals, so I'd be open to discussing sharing in a bright, comfortable place with someone kind and respectful, who appreciates some privacy and room to breathe. :) I have no pets, but huge bonus if you do! ;) Registration is necessary. Daar ga ik namelijk (als ik mijn examens haal en een kamer vind) bouwkunde studeren :) Ik vertel wel ff wat over mezelf: Ik ben groot fan van (oudere) films en series kijken en ook piano spelen vind ik erg leuk! Daarnaast vind ik het leuk om met mijn handen wat om te prutsen door bijvoorbeeld te tekenen of verven. Ik ben ook niet vies van bakken. Ook vind ik het leuk om buiten te zijn om paarden te verzorgen en rijden of te wandelen. I just finished my MSc in International Financial Management at the University of Groningen, and I'm now in the transition from studies into my first proper job in finance and analytics. I'm giving up my room in Groningen at the end of April and looking for a place for up to six months while I settle into work. I can move in as soon as possible and I'm flexible on the exact start date. On the practical side: rent is fully covered. My parents are supporting me through this transition period, and I'm happy to provide proof of funds or a guarantor if that's useful. I may also pick up a small side job in the meantime for a bit more independence. As a housemate I'm tidy, I like having a routine, and I'm easy to live with. I don't smoke and I don't have any pets. My days will mostly be looking for work, going to the gym, and quiet evenings at home. Hallol! Ik ben Finn (20) en ik begin volgend jaar aan mijn studie drums aan het conservatorium in Haarlem. Op dit moment woon ik in Nijmegen, wat betekent dat ik elke dag bijna 5 uur aan het reizen zou zijn. Dat is helaas niet te doen, dus ik ben hard op zoek naar een woonplek in Utrecht, Haarlem of een andere plek dichter in de buurt van school. Hi, I'm Dominik. In June I was admitted to study Computer Science at Saxion University and started organizing my new life as a first year student in Enschede looking for accommodation. I come from a multicultural family - my mother is of Slovak origin and my father is of Colombian origin, so I have both nationalities and I have applied in Saxion University with my Slovak nationality, although I currently reside with my family in the capital of Colombia, Bogota. I am 17 years old and I have just finished my secondary school in Bogota, but very soon I will turn 18 and I consider myself mature enough to move away from my family and embark on a new path at Saxion University. In my multicultural family I have learned since I was little to travel a lot and enjoy adventures of all kinds. From a very young age I have started racing swimming training and today I am the performance swimmer affiliated with the Swimming Federation of Colombia and also of Slovakia. I hope to continue with this hobby also in Holland, since I like sports in general. Outside of sports, perhaps like most young people of my age, I like music and video games. I come from very far away (Colombia) and I have faith that living this way I will be able to adapt much easier to my new life and make lasting friendships with mutual support. Being an athlete since I was little, I am used to sharing with my peers and providing support when required, I am a friendly and social person. Coming from a multicultural family I think I was raised to be respectful and open-minded. Furthermore, Colombian culture is a very friendly, happy and pleasant culture like most South American cultures.
