I've been living independently in Austria for the past year, sharing a flat with a roommate, so I have real experience with shared living. I pay rent on time without being reminded, I don't smoke indoors, and I have no pets. Cleanliness is something I take seriously, especially in shared spaces. My last roommate wasn't particularly tidy, which honestly made me more firm about maintaining common areas. Kitchens and bathrooms stay clean because I keep up with them consistently, not just before someone visits. I've worked in hotel maintenance where I handled things like fixing leaking toilets and showers, assembling furniture, and general repairs around the property. That experience taught me how to treat a space and its appliances with care so they stay in good condition long term. I'm not the kind of tenant who misuses things and waits for them to break. For anything serious I always keep the landlord informed and in the loop. I'm calm and easy to live with. I don't host parties or have people over constantly. Hi! I’m Hannes - 22-year-old product designer from Bavaria (near Munich, Germany) and I will start my Master’s at TU Delft 1st of September. I’m currently looking for a room in a shared flat from August / mid-August, and I plan to stay in Delft for around 2 years for my Master’s. I recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Technical Design and I’m very passionate about design, furniture, and DIY projects. I have my own 3D printer and really enjoy building and creating things. I’m also very into sports. I played ice hockey for many years at a high level, and nowadays I love road cycling, mountain biking, going to the gym, and skiing. Even though I love the mountains, I’m really excited about living in the Netherlands and especially looking forward to cycling here – I even have a few vintage road bikes :) As a person, I’m clean, disciplined, and respectful in shared spaces.
