Hoi! Ik ben Mees, 22 jaar, en ik heb net mijn bachelor European Languages and Cultures afgerond aan de Universiteit van Groningen. In september begin ik aan de master Cultural Data & AI aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Ik kijk enorm uit naar dit nieuwe avontuur en zoek een fijne plek in de stad waar ik kan studeren, Amsterdam ontdekken en tot rust komen. Eenmaal in Amsterdam ben ik van plan om me vol op mijn studie te storten en daarnaast een bijbaantje te zoeken. Natuurlijk wil ik ook genoeg tijd overhouden om nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten en bezig te zijn met mijn hobby’s ,ik zit dus zeker niet de hele dag thuis. Ik heb een grote liefde voor muziek, koken, lezen en snuffelen in kringloopwinkels. Ik ben sociaal en hou van een praatje, maar waardeer ook rust en tijd voor mezelf. Als huisgenoot ben ik netjes, zorg goed voor mijn leefruimte en kook (bijna) elke avond met plezier, wie weet ook voor jou! 😉

I work through a work agency and I understand that landlords are very put off by that, but I can assure you that my position is completely firm and there is virtually no chance of me getting laid off. Very quiet:  no music, no partying, no loud noises. No drinking or any substances nor smoking. I prefer mostly solitary way of living with my lifestyle revolving around mindfulness, self inquiry, meditation, light yoga and general focus on my health. Respectful to those around me:  while I don't speak Dutch and am not particularly social, I am polite at all times and I keep in mind the wellbeing of others. I am willing to be involved in any matters that are important for the landlord or community. Honest and transparent in all matters. I am 32 years old. No pets. I am single. I am able to provide all necessary documents. My reason for moving is that I consider home environment to be very important to my overall wellbeing. A fully independent space is a goal of mine, it would be a great improvement to my current housing conditions and open up new opportunities.
