Hi there, I am looking for a room or a studio in Amsterdam starting in July. I have lived in Amsterdam since September 2025 and have come here for my university studies. I will be continuing into my second year of studying Human Geography and Urban Planning at the University of Amsterdam in September of this year. I am looking for a place where registration is possible, and I am ideally looking for a 2-year contract. However, 1 year is also possible. I’m a German and Canadian citizen but originally grew up in Bali until I was 12. Before moving to Amsterdam last year, I lived in Berlin for 3 years, where I was studying and received my International Baccalaureate diploma. I took a year off from studying, during which I volunteered for 3 months at a yoga retreat center outside of Barcelona. After my volunteering experience, I moved back to Berlin, where I was working full-time as a receptionist at a boutique hotel. I'm a respectful tenant and value keeping my personal space clean and organized. I value keeping a healthy routine for myself by going to the gym or joining workout classes and cooking healthy, nutritious meals. Hello possible roommate or landlord! My name is Stijn and I am about to study Humane Neurosciences this year at the university of Radboud. I have already studied Mechanical Engineering for 3 years at TU Delft, but I would like to learn more about the integration between humans and machines. Besides my studies I commonly enjoy cooking, board games, reading and writing, discussions about all types of things and archery. I am still new to Nijmegen so I cannot really state my routine but I do want to join a chill association, practice archery and a form of tai chi, work in the healthcare industry and do my studies of course!
