Hi everyone! My name is Tommaso and I’m 23 years old. I am currently completing my degree in Design and Arts at IULM University in Milan, and this September I’ll be starting my Master’s in Art History at the University of Groningen. As you can probably guess from my studies, I am deeply passionate about both art and fashion, they are a huge part of my daily life and inspiration. Hoi! Ik ben Ishara, 22 jaar oud, en momenteel bezig met afstuderen in Toegepaste Psychologie. Vanaf september start ik aan een nieuwe bachelor Psychologie aan de Radboud University. Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar. Ik hoop een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen te vinden waar ik voor langere tijd met plezier kan wonen!

Hey, I'm Jan, a student from Czechia, moving to the Netherlands to do my bachelor's in Computer Science at TU Delft. I'm pretty tidy and easy-going, the type who cleans up after himself and doesn't bring drama into the flat. Outside of my studies I'm into the hardware side of tech, mostly designing PCBs, which is a quiet desk hobby I keep to my own room. But I'm not a hermit, I'm always down for a coffee, a meal, or a night out here and there. I also love traveling and seeing new places, and when I'm winding down you'll usually find me watching anime. I grew up dancing in a Moravian folklore group, and I've played a bunch of instruments over the years (organ, classical and electric guitar, mandolin), though I don't get to them as much these days. I don't smoke, no cigarettes or vapes, and I'm not really a drinker. I'm totally fine with a social household, I just don't need it to be a party every single night. Somewhere friendly and relaxed, where people actually hang out but also appreciate a bit of quiet, is my kind of place.

Hey! Ik ben Abe, 19 jaar en vanaf september begin ik met een studie aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Vanwege de lange reistijd zoek ik daarom een kamer in Utrecht. Ik heb eerder al in een studentenkamer in Eindhoven gewoond, dus ik ben het studentenleven en het delen van een huis al gewend. Ik vind het juist leuk om met huisgenoten te wonen: samen eten, een drankje doen of gewoon even bijkletsen, maar natuurlijk ook gewoon lekker je eigen ding kunnen doen. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik vooral veel met muziek bezig. Ik geef ongeveer 8 uur per week pianoles en speel daarnaast in verschillende bands en bij musicals en optredens. Ook ben ik regelmatig te vinden bij concerten, optredens, muziekbars en clubs. Naast mijn pianolessen werk ik parttime bij een software-startup.
