Hi, I am Sören, 20 years old and from Germany will study International Studies in Den Haag. About me: I have a passion for anything related to music. I love playing the saxophone or the piano, going to concerts and to be inspired by the people around me what music to listen to. Apart from that I love to travel and spent the 2 year after finshing highschool first on a 8 month trip in Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua and then on a 4 month trip in Japan and South Korea. I've been working or volunteering in hostels for a while, so I became very welcoming and friendly. My favourite activity with my friends or guests? Playing Minecraft until late and joking around. I am fluent in English (C1) and learning Dutch, and I am currently around A2 in understanding (both listening and reading) and around A1 in speaking and writing. But since I have now passed all my finals, I can start spending more time learning Dutch, and I anticipate reaching B1 overall by early September and maybe B2 within the next year. Hi, my name is Archie and I’m 19 years old. I’m originally from Spain, with British/Spanish parents - I’m fully bilingual. I’m moving to Eindhoven to study Industrial Engineering at TU/e and I’m looking for a comfortable, quiet place to call home while I focus on my degree. Before starting university I spent a gap year solo-travelling through South America, working in Maui and honing my surf skills, and spending a month in Bali surfing twice a day and meeting travellers from all over the world. It was an incredible experience that taught me a lot about independence, adaptability, and looking after myself (and others) wherever I am. I’m a responsible and tidy person; I take good care of shared spaces and respect the home I live in. I’m a non-smoker and don’t have any pets. I’m also pretty handy when it comes to DIY, so small things that need fixing are never a problem! Outside of my studies, I’m very active and love sport - tennis, kitesurfing, foil, surfing, skiing, wakeboarding, and hiking are all part of my life.
