Hello everyone! My name is Nicole, I'm 25 years old and I'm originally from Italy. In the last couple of years I've lived in different countries for studying and working, including Japan and Australia, and France and since February of this year I've been doing a Master in Politics, Economies and Societies of Asia at Leiden University. As I'm studying in Leiden and working part-time in Den Haag, I am looking for a room in the area :) I am a friendly person, I enjoy chatting and hanging out with my flatmates, but I of course also value personal space. I am very clean and always make sure common spaces are tidy and ready for the next person to use. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, markets and cafes with my friends, as well as playing tennis and other sports. I am also attending a Dutch course in Leiden every week :)

I am Jayana, and I will be starting my Research Master in Art History at Utrecht University this September. Now, my next step is to find a new room to call home in or around Utrecht! I hold dual nationality, Swiss and Portuguese, which makes me an EU citizen. I also wanted to mention that I speak English, French, and a bit of German. A little about me: I just finished my Bachelor's degree at the University of Groningen, where I lived for 3 years in a shared flat with 5 other international girls, and I genuinely loved it. I found a family abroad and would love to do that again. I know exactly how to share a flat: I'm tidy, clean, and respectful of everyone's space, while also being sociable and open to building real friendships with my future roommates, not just living under the same roof. I love a night out, but I'm just as happy spending an evening at home playing board games. I'm also quite active; hiking, swimming, biking, or trying out any new sport are things I really enjoy, so I'd be a great sports buddy too! Since my master's programme runs for 2 years, I am looking for a place to stay for the full 2 years, ideally with the possibility to register. Hoi! Ik ben Thijmen, 23 jaar en heb gestudeerd in Groningen, waar ik een geweldige studententijd heb gehad. Ik heb inmiddels mijn bachelor Biologie en mijn master Energy & Environmental Sciences gehaald, maar ik ben nog niet helemaal uitgestudeerd. Vandaar dat ik heb besloten nog en master in Public Administration aan de UTwente te doen en zoek ik een fijne plek om te wonen in Enschede. Ik vind het ontzettend gezellig om samen met huisgenoten te eten, een drankje te doen, een goed bordspel te spelen of gewoon even op de bank te hangen. Tegelijkertijd vind ik het ook helemaal prima als iedereen lekker zijn eigen gang gaat en waardeer ik mijn persoonlijke ruimte als ik even rustig aan wil doen. In mijn vrije tijd vermaak ik me altijd wel. Ik speel graag wat op mijn gitaar, hou op m'n tijd van wat gamen en ga regelmatig een rondje hardlopen (met als doel de halve marathon). Daarnaast ben ik nu nog elk weekend actief als leiding bij een scoutingvereniging in Groningen. Zodra ik in Enschede gesetteld ben, ben ik zeker van plan om daar in de buurt ook weer zoiets op te pakken. Ook ben ik graag met mijn vrienden. We plannen regelmatig speciaalbier avondjes, een whiskey proeverij of een leuke, actieve activiteit, zoals padellen.
