Hey, Marius here! Just moved to Amsterdam a few weeks ago to work at Flying Pig Downtown and I'm looking for permanent accomodation. I've been working or volunteering in hostels for a while, so I became very welcoming and friendly. My favourite activity with my friends or guests? Playing Minecraft until late and joking around. Ever since I arrived here I realized I really like cycling around (very recreationally, you won't find me with the skinny cyclist suit yet). When it comes to how I live, I've often been complimented on how clean I keep my room (to the point where even my mom was proud, big achievement). I also don't smoke or have pets. I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s at University of Amsterdam to study Human Geography and Planning, eventually gaining a Masters in a related field. In terms of housing, my preference would be in Amsterdam within a reasonable commute to the Roeterseiland campus, but understand I may need to look further out. I would prefer to live in a private studio, but I’m also open to shared housing. In Denver, I’ve lived with three various other roommates the whole time, and all of us have gotten along very well. I’m very clean and quite quiet, though I do like socializing with my roommates when we’re able to. Having lived with roommates the past 2 years, I’m more than happy to share a space with others and I keep common areas very tidy. I’m excited to meet people from around the world and experience my next chapter.
