First and foremost, I am: Exceptionally tidy, attentive and respectful of the property:  even smallest issues/damages don't go unnoticed and are dealt with by me. I keep everything well maintained and take full responsibility. Cleanliness and order at all times is important part of my mindset and the way of living. Financially stable:  I work ~32 hours a week on average, make around 2100€ monthly and 24K€ annually, have decent amount of savings and I am very mindful of my finances. No debts or loans. I have been working at FedEx Duiven for over 18 months as a parcel sorter/forklift driver. I work through a work agency and I understand that landlords are very put off by that, but I can assure you that my position is completely firm and there is virtually no chance of me getting laid off. If you have any doubts, I can explain the full work situation in detail. I intend to stay in the country and Gelderland area for a long time as I've permanently left my country of origin Lithuania. Very quiet:  no music, no partying, no loud noises. No drinking or any substances nor smoking. I prefer mostly solitary way of living with my lifestyle revolving around mindfulness, self inquiry, meditation and general focus on my health. Respectful to those around me:  while I don't speak Dutch and am not particularly social, I am polite at all times and I keep in mind the wellbeing of others. I am willing to be involved in any matters that are important for the landlord or community. Honest and transparent in all matters. I am 33 years old. No pets. I am single. I am able to provide all necessary documents. My reason for moving is that I consider home environment to be very important to my overall wellbeing. A fully independent space is a goal of mine, it would be a great improvement to my current housing conditions and open up new opportunities.

Hello I am from Germany and soon studying psychology in Amsterdam.

Xx Op dit moment is er geen kamer beschikbaar. Xx Wij zijn een gezin (een vader, 2 dochters 23/25, studentes). Ze wonen op kamers in Den Haag en Leiden en studeren aan een universiteit. We hebben ervaring met het verhuur van kamers, ook voor een van de buren in de straat wat voor beide partijen goed was bevallen. Ruim 6 maanden lang hebben studentes uit Polen, Italie, Spanje, Frankrijk, Chili, Nederland, Turkije, Slovakia, Frankrijk, Indonesië en studerend in Leiden en Den Haag hier een kamer gehuurd. Er zijn 2 privékamers voor studenten beschikbaar en soms tijdelijk een kamer die voor een korte periode als wisselkamer wordt gebruikt. Dit adres is eerder gescreend door TakeCareBnB/Rode Kruis en de eigenaar heeft een VOG-verklaring vanwege meerdere opvang van Oekraïense vluchtelingen maar die zijn inmiddels elders onder gebracht. Delen van het huis wordt op dit moment verduurzaamd en gerenoveerd, maar we proberen zo min mogelijk het overlast te beperken. De aangeboden kamers zijn klaar voor gebruik en waren tot voor kort verhuurd aan een studente uit Spanje/Chili en Polen. Referenties zijn beschikbaar. Vanwege de samenstelling van het gezin en inrichting van het huis, willen we enkel een studente van het vrouwelijke geslacht die Nederlands en/of Engels spreekt. Voldoe je daar niet aan, dan heeft het geen zin om te reageren. Mijn Engels is matig/redelijk maar communiceren lukt prima. De sfeer is heel relaxed en behalve huishoudelijke afspraken kan je lekker jezelf zijn. Je zal je snel thuisvoelen en een introductieprogramma rond Leidschendam is mogelijk. Ook is er een kaart beschikbaar waarmee je gratis of met korting naar sommige musea kan gaan. Westfield The Mall is een van de grootse winkelcentra van Europa en is 10 minuten fietsen hier vandaan en in de omgeving is ook een heel mooi natuurgebied. In 30 minuten sta je in het centrum in Den Haag of sta je op het strand in Scheveningen. Gebruik van de wasmachine, droger en wasmiddel is inbegrepen. Because of the composition of the family and the layout of the house, we only want a quiet female student who speaks Dutch or English. If you don't comply with that, there's no point in responding. My English is not perfect and good communication is necessary if you live in 1 house. The atmosphere is very relaxed and there are few rules except for household arrangements. You will quickly feel at home and safe.

Ik ben een 6 VWO leerling uit Kerkrade (Zuid-Limburg) en ga Werktuigbouwkunde studeren aan de TU Delft. Rondom deze omgeving zoek ik daarom ook een kamer! Bekijk zeker mn foto's ! ! Ik ben een vrij rustig persoon, maar niet ongezellig (hoop ik). Ik spreek graag met vrienden af om wat te eten of om te sporten: ik boulder graag met hun, heb lang gevoetbald (en als vrijwilliger gewerkt als jeugdtrainer) en doe ook aan krachttraining. Buiten sportieve hobby's ben ik ook graag creatief bezig: naaien, video-editen (je ziet me in een kantooroutfit in Heerlen-Centrum voor een videoproject) en grafisch ontwerp zijn allemaal dingen waar ik me bezig heb gehouden. Verder ga ik ook graag naar concerten: ik luister veel genres, maar de concerten waar ik heenga zijn vooral opkomende artiesten in de underground rap of edm scene (2hollis, fakemink, Frost Children, Underscores, etc..). Ik hoef niet per se een fan te zijn om mee te gaan, ga namelijk ook vaak gewoon met vrienden naar artiesten die ik niet goed ken. Het feit dat ik vrij rustig zal zijn komt ook doordat ik een gefocust student ben: het gymnasium heb ik met een 8,8 afgerond. Ik heb lang gezeten bij de debatvertegenwoordiging van school en heb veel gedaan met MEP (Model European Parliament). Ook heb ik meegedaan aan Olympiades, het Technasium (O&O) afgerond en veel wedstrijden (bv. wiskunde wedstrijden) gedaan voor school. Verder ben ik als Chinees in Nederland opgegroeid: thuis spreken we Chinees en eten we Chinees. Ik heb ook lang gezeten op de Chinese school, vanaf al zolang ik dingen kan onthouden eigenlijk. Aangezien mn ouders erg lang en tot laat werken, heb ik altijd al een grote verantwoordelijkheid gedragen voor het schoonhouden van het huis. Als lezer wil ik u/jou vooral meegeven dat ik, ongeacht wat er van mij verwacht wordt als huurder, me goed kan aanpassen aan de wensen van de verhuurder. Ik hoop u/jou hiermee voldoende overtuigd te hebben en mocht u/je een kamer aan mij willen bieden, graag :))

I am a 24-year-old Canadian law student from Toronto. I have been in Groningen since August 2025. I came to Groningen as part of my Canadian University’s partnership with RUG that allowed me to finish my Canadian Juris Doctor degree and enabled me to get an LLM at RUG. As such, currently, I have completed the Juris Doctor degree and am wrapping up my LLM in Law and Technology at the RUG. In Canada, the study of law is exclusively a graduate study. As a result, I also have an Undergraduate Degree from the University of Toronto. Initially, I planned to go back to Toronto for work after the completion of my study in Groningen. However, I have fallen in love with the city and its walkability/cyclability. As a result, I plan to stay in the city for some time and establish a legal career in Europe. Currently, I am in the process of searching for a legal job. In the meantime, I have lined up some part time work to keep up with expenses. Although surprised, my family is supportive of my decision to stay in Groningen and are willing to act as my financial safety net, if needed. I have been paying 800 EUR for my current SSH accommodation and can provide the receipts. Apart from my study and work-based pursuits, I have kept engaged with hobbies in the city including Salsa and Ballroom dancing. I am also a part of the travel association AEGEE and have taken opportunities to travel across 12 European countries. Additionally, I am currently taking Dutch intensive summer classes. I hope to have at least an A2 level proficiency in the language by the end of this summer.
