Ik kom zelf uit Apeldoorn, maar na een jaar veel op en neer reizen lijkt het me heel fijn om echt in Nijmegen te wonen en meer mee te krijgen van het studentenleven. Volgend jaar wil ik ook actiever worden bij mijn studievereniging, dus een gezellig huis in Nijmegen lijkt me perfect. In mijn vrije tijd houd van afspreken met vrienden, maar mijn relax-tijd is ook heel belangrijk voor mij, dit spendeer ik vaak door te lezen of films te kijlen. Mensen zouden mij omschrijven als rustig, gezellig en opgeruimd. Ik sta altijd open voor een praatje en ik houd van een filmavondje, spelletjes doen of samen een drankje drinken. Daarnaast ben ik netjes (schoonmaken is voor mij geen probleem, schoon huis = fijn huis), houd ik rekening met anderen en vind ik het belangrijk dat iedereen zich thuis voelt in huis.

Hi, I'm Keshini. I'm from Mauritius and I moved to Utrecht in August 2025 to pursue a BSc in Economics and Business Economics at Utrecht University. I'm very grateful for my parents to be financially helping me with tuition fees, living expenses as well as rent so I don't need to worry about money, but I'm also working a part time job to boost my CV and gain more experience in general. I have also been very active in the student life at Utrecht University ever since I moved here. I've volunteered as a Peer Leader for the university's welcome week in August, and I'm the Chair of the Wellbeing Committee of ECU'92 at Utrecht University. I'm responsible for leading the committee and organising events and dividing the tasks among members. So far, we've organised several events such as a karaoke night, a Chess Tournament and also a Hiking activity and many more to come! I'm also really into fitness; I go to the gym at least twice a week and do yoga or pilates at home sometimes. I love reading and travelling as well, especially solo travelling. I started travelling in 2025 and I've been to 6 countries so far and I've also visited a few cities in the Netherlands, including Amsterdam, Maastricht and Leiden.
