Hi, I'm Joshua (24) from Germany. This August I'm moving to The Hague to start my Master's in Industrial Design at the KABK (Royal Academy of Art), and I'm looking for a long-term room or studio in or near the city. I'm tidy, quiet and reliable, I usually cook at home in the evenings, and you'll otherwise find me out running or reading. I'm happy to introduce myself in a (video) call any time.

I'm someone who gets a lot of energy from being around people, whether that's at uni, a rugby training session, a night out, or just chatting over dinner. At the same time, I'm just as happy disappearing into nature for a walk, reading a good book, meditating for a bit, or taking my old camcorder out to film whatever catches my eye. I've also recently gotten into dancing, so don't be surprised if I'm the first one convincing people to join me on the dance floor. I've lived in France, the US, Scotland, and the UAE, which has given me the chance to meet people from all kinds of backgrounds. I think that's made it pretty easy for me to connect with others and feel at home in new places. At home, I like keeping shared spaces clean and comfortable. I'm always happy to hang out or cook together, but I also appreciate everyone's own space just as I appreciate mine. I naturally clean up after myself and believe the state of your house reflects your state of mind.

Hi! My name is Luis, I'm 24 and I study climate protection and climate adaptation near Munich, where I'm originally from. From the beginning of September 2026 until the beginning or middle of February 2027 I'll be doing an internship in an NGO in the middle of Amsterdam – and I'm looking for a room for that period. I'd describe myself as outgoing, open-minded and energetic, but I equally enjoy calm and cozy evenings at home. I love music (playing and listening), spending time in nature, and sports like running and climbing. As a housemate I'm easy to live with: clean, respectful of shared spaces, and I do my part without having to be asked. I enjoy having a good connection with my housemates, but I also value everyone having their own space. My girlfriend is Dutch, so my spoken Dutch is already at a decent level and I'd love to use it more day to day (writing is still the harder part, hence this text in English).
