Goedendag, Ik ben deeltijd PhD-student aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, bij de faculteit filosofie. Hello, I'm Emilio. I’m 22 years old and will be 23 in May 2026. I was born and raised in Napa, California but have lived in Denver, Colorado for the past 2 years. I have three citizenships, American, Italian and Canadian. I speak English and some Italian, but no Dutch (yet!). I plan on settling into my new home in Amsterdam in June 2026, and will work part-time after getting settled in. I’m willing to rent sooner for the right home to avoid housing chaos. I do have savings and allocate my financial resources responsibly. I enjoy playing video games such as Cities: Skylines, and going to many EDM shows. I’m social but not a big partier. I love travelling and have visited my family in Italy since I was 6 months old. I’m very passionate about non-car centric city planning, which is why I’m going to Amsterdam to study it since I believe they have the best cities in the world. I hope to take that knowledge of the Netherlands and bring it back to the USA to help improve our car-centric cities here. I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s at University of Amsterdam to study Human Geography and Planning, eventually gaining a Masters in a related field. In terms of housing, my preference would be in Amsterdam within a reasonable commute to the Roeterseiland campus, but understand I may need to look further out. I would prefer to live in a private studio, but I’m also open to shared housing. In Denver, I’ve lived with three various other roommates the whole time, and all of us have gotten along very well. I’m very clean and quite quiet, though I do like socializing with my roommates when we’re able to. Having lived with roommates the past 2 years, I’m more than happy to share a space with others and I keep common areas very tidy. Hoi! Ik ben Minthe en ik kom uit Zuid-Limburg. Aankomend schooljaar ga ik Bouwkunde studeren aan de HAN in Arnhem, dus ik ben op zoek naar een fijne kamer omdat de reistijd anders echt te lang wordt. Heya! My name is Tomás (Thomas works too), I'm Portuguese, from Lisbon, and moving to Delft in September for my first year at TU Delft. First time living abroad, pretty excited about it. I'm very into sports. I run (half marathons and mountain trails), swim and cycle regularly, and I'm working towards doing an Ironman at some point. Also go to the gym pretty often, no leg days though 😂 I’m social in a pretty natural and low-pressure way, I like hanging out, but I’m not forcing it. I’ll join for shared meals, spontaneous plans and fun sidequests. I just like a place where everyone feels comfortable and natural, i’ll do whatever you guys are down for. I’m not loud or chaotic, but I’m definitely not closed off either, somewhere in the middle I keep things clean, I take the shared space seriously and have no issue with chores or general house stuff. Also still figuring out cooking but it's a work in progress 😂 Also pretty into tech, I can go deep on it if you're curious or completely shut up about it if you're not English isn't my first language but I use it constantly and it's never been an issue. In Lisbon, tourists and immigrants often think I’m not local because my English sounds fluent without a strong or weird accent.
