Hi, I'm Daniel. I'm 20 years old, originally from Moldova, and I'm moving to the Netherlands to start my Bachelor's in Business Economics at Utrecht University. I've been living independently in Austria for the past year, sharing a flat with a roommate, so I have real experience with shared living. I pay rent on time without being reminded, I don't smoke indoors, and I have no pets. Cleanliness is something I take seriously, especially in shared spaces. My last roommate wasn't particularly tidy, which honestly made me more firm about maintaining common areas. Kitchens and bathrooms stay clean because I keep up with them consistently, not just before someone visits. I've worked in hotel maintenance where I handled things like fixing leaking toilets and showers, assembling furniture, and general repairs around the property. That experience taught me how to treat a space and its appliances with care so they stay in good condition long term. I'm not the kind of tenant who misuses things and waits for them to break. For anything serious I always keep the landlord informed and in the loop. I'm calm and easy to live with. I don't host parties or have people over constantly. Outside of uni I run my own side projects in business and tech, so I'm usually focused and keep to myself in a good way. I've also worked as a waiter at large-scale events and have some experience in property management and rental processes, so I understand what's expected from a good tenant on both sides. Hello! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I would love my independence and a studio or apartment, but I also understand the housing shortage yields few or unaffordable rentals, so I'd be open to discussing sharing in a bright, comfortable place with someone kind and respectful, who appreciates some privacy and room to breathe. :) I have no pets, but huge bonus if you do! ;) Registration is necessary. Mijn naam is Anouk, en drie jaar geleden heb ik in Zeist mijn HAVO afgerond. Nu doe ik een BBL opleiding kok. Ik werk 4 dagen in de week en een dag ga ik naar mijn school: ROC Horeca en Toerisme College in Nieuwegein.
