Hi there! My name is Jason, I am 23 years old and I'll be visiting the University of Amsterdam for an Erasmus semester starting August 31st 2026 till January 31st 2027. I am currently living in Konstanz, Germany. I study sociology in my 4th semester now and I also study political science as my minor subject. I would describe myself as a very vibrant and social but also as a very sensitive person. I love engaging with people and to communicate with them, even if they're strangers to me. As I am a student in my home country I already have a lot of experience in living with roommates and how to coordinate everything with them. It's very important for me that everyone gets along with each other so everyone can feel like they're at home. Furthermore, I am very aware of leaving my working spaces clean, e.g. in the kitchen. My studies start on August 31st. It would be ideal for me to move in mid-August but I'd also be able to pay rent beginning August 1st. Financially I am supported by a lot of "programs". I receive student loans in my home country and will also get it for studying abroad. Furthermore, I also get an Erasmus scholarship for studying in Amsterdam. Personally, I used to work as a mailman for two years so I still got a lot of savings left. Additionally, I'm also supported directly by my parents and some family members would try to help as well if something ever happens. If it comes to interests there is a variety of stuff that I engage in! :) I enjoy doing sports, especially swimming. Also, I am very interested in a lot of cultural stuff like museums and festivals that are characteristic for a certain country or community. I also recently started to be very interested in comedy shows and poetry slam but I'm not too deep about that yet. Hi! My name is Emrehan (or Emre could be easier), and I'm currently 25. I'm from Turkey but I've been living in The Netherlands for about three years now. I've been living with my family in South-Limburg ever since I came. I can understand and speak a basic level of Dutch, but I didn't want to be misleading by writing this Bio in Dutch, as most of my daily life is in English. I've been working in a supermarket in hours varying between 24-40 h/w for these last three years. When I move to Nijmegen, I plan to apply to new part-time jobs right away. As of September, I will be starting my Master's in Radboud Uni. I'm pretty happy and excited to get back on track with my aspirations. But the housing situation is also a bit terrifying as I want to have a place where I can anchor now (I don't want to move around for a while anymore :D). Honestly, I am quite sensitive with my boundaries, so I'd prefer a studio (but hey, who doesn't I guess). But we all have to make do with what we have, therefore I can describe myself as someone easy to share tasks with. I try to hold myself to a high standard of being fair to others, so I always get the job done and sometimes more. I am a smoker if that's also relevant. That's pretty much all I can say.

Wij zijn Serena Wubs (19) en Sjors de Roo (20), een rustig en sociaal stel dat op zoek is naar ons eerste eigen plekje. Hello possible roommate or landlord! My name is Stijn and I am about to study Humane Neurosciences this year at the university of Radboud. I have already studied Mechanical Engineering for 3 years at TU Delft, but I would like to learn more about the integration between humans and machines. Besides my studies I commonly enjoy cooking, board games, reading and writing, discussions about all types of things and archery. I am still new to Nijmegen so I cannot really state my routine but I do want to join a chill association, practice archery and a form of tai chi, work in the healthcare industry and do my studies of course! I am also a person who doesn't drink alcohol, use drugs or smoke but I can for sure have fun just as much as someone who does drink. Something to be noted is that I have Autism and ADD combined, but this hasn't resulted in any problems with my previous roommates.
