In September I'm moving to The Hague to start a one-year master's in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University, and I'm looking for a room I can settle into for the whole duration of my studies, not just somewhere to sleep between lectures. The thing I care about most in a shared home is trust, simply being someone you can rely on, whatever kind of day it's been. I'm quiet and easy to live with, but sociable too, I genuinely enjoy cooking, a shared meal or a beer in the evening, and I can just as happily have a calm night in. It really depends on the mood, I read the room and fit in. I like a home that actually works, where the kitchen gets used, where I do my share without being asked, and where I'll fix a small thing rather than let it sit. I'm tidy, low-drama, and I've never minded picking up a little slack for people I live with. Alongside my studies I intend to work as well, so my days are structured and my rhythm fits a working household. My name is Lovro I'm an architecture student, currently entering the last year of my Master's programme at TU Delf, where I'm also employed as a student assistant. I come from Croatia, Zagreb to be exact, where I completed my Bachelor's degree. Before coming to Delft, I did an internship in Copenhagen for half a year. During my first year in the Netherlands I lived in a shared apartment with great roommates in Rotterdam, however I decided to look for a more cozy and better space. In my free time I enjoy working on architectural competitions, as well as reading, running, playing futsal and spending quality time with my friends. In Delft I play futsal for FC Tutor, where last year we came second in the Dutch Student Championship! I have recently taken upon running, and I'm currently preparing for my first half-marathon in Antwerp in October.
